Work hard, play hard

I love it when my girls will cuddle up together and one of them ends up falling asleep.  Alexis was reading a book to Adison and she crashed.  It is so funny because some times they can be so sweet and I just love it and then the times they are in the car and I hear, 'she's touching me" and "get on your side"  make me want to grind my teeth.  So I am so thankful for these moments that they show each other that they love one another.

Adison loves to look pretty.  She loves her hair and loves to play with it.  For some reason her hair has taken forever to grow and is still having a hard time getting thickened up and growing at all in the front and on top.  It makes it a bit of a challenge to doing some hairstyles that she wants done.

Max is a smoothie eater.  As soon as he hears the blender he knows what is coming and he can not wait to get some.  He is really starting to love all foods and wants to eat it all.

We have gone to the lake a few times and just let the girls jump off the docks and mess around in the water.  It is one of their favorite things to do.

Every year the cub scouts do a cute little carnival in the park.  Each game is a quarter and they get a prize for everything the do.  The girls have a blast.

My girls are not afraid to play outside and get dirty.  Some days they are outside all day long and they look like they could be homeless.  But it is summertime and that is the way it should be!

They love to catch these cute little frogs each year.  They are all over our yard and in the edges of the field.

We are getting ready to work on all of our concrete.  I think Ryan has put it off for this long because it is one of our least favorite things to do.  It is so much work and such a mess.

This is how we are trying to figure out what we want it to look like.  Gotta love our smart phones!

This is us getting it started.  We didn't realize how much there was to do, and it was such a hot day that the concrete was drying so fast.  We were going to stamp it all and make it look cute, but when we started to put the stamps down they didn't do a dang thing…. so it was to set up and dry so we didn't' get to do it at all.  Our steps dried so fast that they didn't get smoothed at all the way we wanted.  One of Ryan's friend said, "well, at least they will look good at night."  uhhhg  makes me so sick that when you work so hard for something and it doesn't turn out the way you have in your mind.  But it is still beautiful and I am glad to have it done.

Love it when this little boy falls asleep in my arms.  He is such a cuddle bug and I love it so much.
