Oregon Coast 2

This is still at the Devils punch bowl.  We loved looking at all the cool little living things on the rocks and in the puddles.  It was crazy how many little clams were everywhere.

My girls dream came true of finding a star fish.  Any time they go to a beach they have searched for cool shells and have always wanted to find a starfish.  They really wanted to keep them, but I was sad to see them die so I told them to put them back in the water and I would buy them one from the little gift shops and they could just pretend they were the same one.

Brad looking extra sharp in his cool new jacket from the outlets.  I really wanted to get Ryan one just like it, but they didn't have anymore his size….

Alexis thought she could climb out to the farthest rock and then the tide started to come in.  She ended up getting splashed a few times and changed her mind.

This is some of the little baby clams stuck on the rocks, and a few little squishy barnacle things that shrink up if you touch them.

This is kinda where liz found her star fish.  it was under a rock and stuck really tight.

We saw some really funny beach pictures on pintrest that we really wanted to try, and as Annette and I say…."we nailed it"  which means, not even close.

There were a few houses just above this cliff and a beautiful little water fall.  This place looked like  a dream it was so beautiful!

We all wanted to see a light house so we drove up to the National park and didn't really even want to get out of the car because it was so windy and cold.  It was crazy because just 10 miles in the other direction it wasn't windy and cold at all.  It was crazy because there were the bird/penguin things that live on the rocks and they have people that are researching them and they stay out all day long and watch them and they know each and every one of them and know every little thing about them.

Sister love!  We had a lot of fun together.  There is nothing better than a sister!

Ha ha, Alexis was able to go fishing one of the days with the boys and she loved it.  She didn't get sick at all but poor Conner was sick the whole time.  They caught tons of crab, and some salmon, and another white fish.  She said that the nets that caught the crab always had a few star fish in them and they were huge.  They put one on her head and it started to form and stick to her.

This picture is not even close to how amazing this view was.  It is so green and the plants are all so beautiful.  It reminds me of Hawaii or something.

This is the condo we  stayed in.  It had some amazing views and we saw a lot of whales.  We could have touched one if my mom wouldn't have freaked out when we crossed over the ropes.

These sea lions and seals all hung out on the rocks every day and were a lot of fun to watch.

These are my girls!  They saw some big geese and started to try and catch them.

All of the flowers were so beautiful also.

The condo had three different pools they could choose to swim in.  This was one of the favorites.  It had a small kid pool, and this big pool was half inside, and half outside.  Then it had a great big hot tub.  The kids swam so much and had a ton of fun together.

Adison found out she could swim under water and was having a ton of fun doing it from one side of the hot tub to the other.  She really didn't want to wear her floaty after that so I had to watch her like crazy.  I was impressed with how well she was doing, and how brave she was.  But that can also be a bad thing.

These three little girls had a lot of fun together.  They had a few little cat fights but for the most of the time were great.

We drove over to Tillamook one day  and stopped at this huge air museum.  I guess Jex has already been to it, but he LOVES anything to do with any of the world wars, and air planes.  This is another place that I was wishing Ryan could have been with us because he loves these kinds of things and he would have loved this place.

This is one of Ryan's favorite planes, at least we thought it was a Corsair until Jex corrected us.  But  I said it looked close enough.

This was so crazy how huge this building was.  you can see Elizabeth walking in the door, and she looks like a little ant.  I guess when they built this building it was made to store blimps that were used in the war.  They had built two twin buildings but one of them burnt down a long time after the war when someone was storing hay and straw in it.

The kids favorite part was playing in the wheelchairs.  The all had a blast having races and just pushing each other in them.  Chis I am sure doesn't think they are as fun as they did.

I was a little tempted to buy this for Max for when he is older.

We went to the Tillomock cheese factory and you would have thought that place was the disney land for cheese or something.  I could not believe how many people where there, and how excited they were to see cheese and ice-cream. It was really cool to see how it was made and the way it is cut and packaged.  Then after we went through the factory there was a game going on to see how many ice creams you could name.  Me and the girls, and then Sara and her kids all played and we sucked really bad.  We took last place, but we still got a prize of a free ice cream cone.

Ryan sent me these cute pictures of Max working with him at the airport and it made me so homesick for him.  I couldn't believe how bad I missed this little boy.  They did a cool little air-show at the airport that Ryan was helping with and so he had a lot of cleaning up and things to get ready for it.  I couldn't believe how great the place looked when I got home.  And the air-show had a great turn out and made over 10,000.  I can't remember how many people they said went, but it was a ton of people.
