Elsa

Adison loves to put her Elsa dress on and some high heels and pretend that she is Elsa.  She will get in fights with her sisters when they call her Adsison when she is wearing the dress and tell them "I am not Adison, I am Elsa!"  All day today she has been calling me Jill and asking me where my sisters are.  Then she tells me that Adison is gone for the day and she will stay and play with me.

Adi took a few pictures of me and Max together.  They are not to bad but the little finger in the corner is the perfect touch!

Max is so in love with this little blue teddy bear.  It is the little gift bear that the hospital gave us when we had him so we have had it just as long as we have had Max.  He loves it when I put it in his crib with it, but Ryan will take it out and put in a football instead.   But when he does sleep with it he puts it up to his face and snuggles it so cute.

he also loves to suck/chew on it

Max still loves to go up the stairs but has not figured out how to go down them yet.  I still get nervous and make sure I am close in case he takes a fall…..

I love this little stink bug crawl that he will do a lot.  He is so fast at getting around and is just so much fun to watch.  He brings our family so much joy and happiness and is just amazing.  Every little thing that they do at this age is so fun to watch and such a big deal and I love it.  They learn so much so fast and they only go through this once.  I feel like if I blink I am going to miss something some days.
It is interesting to think that my whole life the only thing that I ever wanted to be was a mother.  I didn't ever picture myself working anywhere or doing anything else but being home with my kids.  At such a young age I loved children and couldn't wait until I had my own.  So right now I am living out my dream, the thing that I wanted to do my entire life.  I feel overwhelmed and sometimes feel like a horrible mom but I think that is normal for everyone.  We are entrusted with these perfect spirits and I am so afraid of damaging them in anyway that it can be scary.   I want my children to be who they were sent to this earth to be and as I watch them and all the qualities they have I can see that they are amazing and they could do anything they want.  I know that they have the power to change lives for the better because that is what they have done for me.

so sweet

So my brother Brad and I don't get to see each other that often and don't spend a ton of time talking.  I do love him so much and look up to him.  I always have and I always will.  That is why this text from him just made my year.  I was a little in shock because he usually says something funny/kinda mean about my baby's like "they look like mickey rooney"  or things that make people laugh.
But I just wanted to remember the sweet thing he said about Max, and I think it is so true.  I do have a cute little boy and he is just so amazing.  I guess I am not the only one who can see it.  :)

Park City Trip

Girls trip!!!   I have been going a little crazy and Ryan has been hunting for a Elk and other thing and hasn't been home a lot so I just needed a break from life for a minute.  My parents have a condo they stay at once a year in Park city and Annette, Sara, and I decided to make a girls trip out of it.   It was a little different from the past girls trips because we decided to take some little girls with us and they had so much fun.  Mia and Lizzy don't get to see each other a ton because we live so far apart but when they get together they laugh and laugh and laugh some more.  They are so funny to listen to giggle.

My parents only stayed one day with us and then had to go home to help Chris with a event and then the next day they went to Texas to visit some friends.  They never sit still anymore.

We were a little tired of shopping and thought it would be fun to go and see the olympic park.  when we went up they were having the tryouts so we thought it would be fun to just go and join the crowd and act like we belonged.  I took a fast picture of the teams and you can see the France in the white and Canada in the red and USA and a few others were there.

We went to the little museum and it was neat.

Mia thought it was time to become a big girl on the trip and get her ears pierced.  She was so scared that she had to think about it for a whole day and then go back the next day.  Before they did it she was shaking and so nervous it was going to hurt.  But she ended up being a champ and loved her new sparkling ears.

Sara was having a little sad moment watching the whole thing.  ha hah

cool glasses at a store…. can't believe I didn't by them.  They would have been so fun for a minion costume or something.

The last day we were there we wanted to go and eat breakfast somewhere cool in park city so we put it into siri and she took us on a crazy drive.  (a few other times on this trip)  but we went up the mountain and into a dead end and still never found where she was taking us.  But we did find a a really cool hotel in the mountain that we took a tour of and it was amazing.  It had a bowling alley and the whole fourth floor was a spa…. we were all sad that we didn't find that sooner.

It is so nice to go and have a little alone time and feel like I am more than a mom for just a few days.  I love being a mom and don't want to be anything else but I sometimes forget that I am also a sister and can be a friend also.  It is so much fun to have sisters and have them as my best friends.  I am so lucky to have them and don't know what I would do without them.

dress up

Adison loves to dress up.  She is always in a cape or a dress or something… and changes ten times a day!

I took this picture so I could see his little scare on his lip… It has been three weeks now and it is still looking bad.  I am so sad that he has that and that it happened.  I just pray that it will go away and you won't be able to notice.  I just hate when things like this happen.  I just want to turn back time and go back to his perfect little face.

Adison was able to go to a eating survey at the school and she loved it.  She liked most of the food the students cooked and loved to hold up her sign that said, yummy, or yucky.

They wanted them to just take a bite and then tell them if they liked it, but Adison didn't want to do that… she wanted to eat all of it.

I know I take so many pictures of my kids and so many of the same picture but it is so hard to choose just one.  They show so many different expressions in each picture and I just love each of them.  I love the smiles and the body language they have and just how dang adorable they are!!!

He looks so big in these pictures and it may be because he is.  He is growing up way to fast.  I need a pause button!

My little beauty queen.  She told me to go and get the camera and take some pictures of her.  Then she would strike a pose and tell me to take it.  She is a little model

I was trying to get a good picture of my hair, but I wasn't feeling it.  I swear the short hair has made my nose look bigger for some reason.
