My Baby......

I know that Brytlee isn't a baby anymore, but she still is my little baby for now. I am sure once her new sister comes things will change, but it is so hard to treat her like she is a four year old when she is my youngest. I catch myself doing things for her, and the girls also doing things for her that we would have never been doing to the other two girls when they were four years old.....

I took Brytlee into JCPennys to have her pictures taken for her birthday and she was so funny. She has a very hard time with her smile, and most of them looked like she was really cold or really scared, so the guy taking the pictures just kept saying, "try not to show your teeth", and other tips like that. I had to laugh a lot because she was trying so hard.

Brytlee is so fun and has such a personality. She is full of energy from the moment she wakes up, till the moment she goes to bed. She loves to play games and watch the girls play on the computer or the wii. She is so good at Memory and plays that one a couple times a day.
You can always tell when Brytlee is getting into trouble because she is either really quiet or she just has a look on her face that gives her away. She has always loved books, she can look at books for hours and whenever we go to Grandma's house she grabs a big pile of books and hands them to grandma to get reading. She also loves to play dolls, she can play with Elizabeth for hours, and the days when she is home alone she will still get out her dolls and play for hours by herself. She also loves to color.
This Christmas our little town gives out a coloring book for all the local businesses and you turn them in and they give you a little treat then latter they judge them and have winners that they put in the paper. As soon as Brytlee got her coloring book she colored the whole thing front to back. After she was done she wanted to color more so we ended up getting her two books and she colored just about all of the second one also. She ended up winning in her age group for the hospital here in town.

Brytlee's birthday

Our little baby B is growing up. She just had her fourth birthday yesterday and she had a great turn out for her birthday party. We had all the Harris family, and the Jagielski, and Grandma and Grandpa were so nice to drive 4 hours to be with us on her special day.
When Brytlee was little we used to call her baby B, so now when she sees a bumble bee she says, "that's me". So for her birthday she really wanted her cake to be a bumble bee.

The picture of the bee had black frosting, and I am not sure how in the world they got the frosting black. I bought brown frosting thinking it was already close so just add a bunch of each color of food coloring and it should go black. But instead it went like a cow pie green color. S0 we had to use the black licorice instead.
Everyone singing happy birthday to dear Brytlee

She got a great bite from her cake!

She loved opening her presents, and she was spoiled by everyone!
My parents gave Brytlee this game "Beware of the dog" and we played it together this morning and I had a few good laughs. It scared Brytlee so bad that she didn't want to try and kept telling up to get the bones for her. The very first time it barked was on Alexis's turn and everyone jumped (I may have yelled) I think this game is going to be a great one for us to play with the girls!

Brytlee with Grandma and Grandpa Harris and Alecia's baby Kinley.
All the kids ran around and played and danced, and had a lot of fun. Brytlee loved having everyone around, and had such a great day. She is such a sweet heart, and I am so thankful to have this sweet little angel as my own little girl.
I had to put this picture on to show Alexis that she is WAY TO BIG to be drinking out of a sippy cup. I think she was maybe needing some attention during the party or something....

Valentines date

Ryan and I went on a date this weekend because I knew that we wouldn't be able to find a babysitter on a Monday, and Ryan play's basketball every Monday night. So I kinda MADE him take me out on a date early so we wouldn't let it go by without celebrating. I have been wanting to try out a new Thia food place and see the new movie "just go with it"
The Thia food wasn't my favorite but I am not sure I ordered the right things. I went to a Thia place in Jackson hole that was soooo good, that I was hoping it would be the same. After dinner we went to Best buy looking at camera's and then our favorite place in the world.... Walmart.
After shopping we went to the movie, and we both really liked it. I laughed so hard at a few parts that I was crying a little.
I am so glad that I have such a wonderful husband!!!! I love him more than anything, and look forward to dates like these so we can just hang out and be together just the two of us. Even if we have nothing to say, just being together makes me feel complete. I feel so lucky to have such a great husband and I love him with all my heart!!!!

Basketball

Alexis is playing basketball again this year and she is loving it. She has improved a lot and is getting more and more confidence with each game. This last week they played and it was her best game yet. She stole the ball, made her very first basket, made a point from a foul, rebounded five or more times, was aggressive and did a great job guarding her man. She only has one game left, and she is going to be so sad when it is over. It has been so fun watching her play and learn more and more each week.

baby is comig soon.....

So it just hit me that next month... I am going to have a new little baby. I am very excited to see this little girl, but I am so nervous also. I feel like I have heard so many bad things about other peoples babies that I am a little worried, and also because I painted our house while I was one month pregnant. I have had so many worries about... what if I did something bad to this baby, and she has a birth defect, or something very wrong with her health.
I know I worry about WAY too much and I wish I didn't but when it comes to my family it is hard not to. I love my family more than anything in the world and I just want them to be happy and have everything that they need and want....
I think our family is so ready to have a new little spirit in our home, and I know that I am so ready to be done being pregnant. I don't know if it is because I waited so long between kids or if it is because I am older, but this one has been the hardest pregnancy for me. I have not felt good, and just don't feel like myself at all. I was really sick at the beginning and throwing up a lot. I can't sleep very well at night, and then I am tired all day, and EVERYTHING gives me heartburn. I also have to apologize to my friends and family because I think I have had depression and I have been very anti-social for the past 8 months. I hope that after the baby comes that I can feel better in the head and get over that because I do love you and want to talk to you.
I also should apologize to my kids. I feel like I have been the worst mom ever to them while I have been pregnant. Not only because we lost our camera and I have not taken a single picture for like 5 months, but because I am so un-fun. My oldest girls are so sweet to me and ask me how I feel a lot and worry about me. They have been so understanding and I hear them say sometimes, "hey be nice to the pregnant lady". I am also very glad to be done building our house because it took so much time away from our kids that I always had so much guilt and they were sooo sick and tired of it.
I also feel so lucky to have such a wonderful husband who always know what to say, and what to do to make me feel better. I am sometimes in shock when he tells me I look pretty or anything nice because I look so huge and really out of shape. But I know that he still loves me no matter what I look like, and he always treats me like a princess.
I know that my girls are just as excited as I am to meet this new little baby, and I can't wait to see what she looks like, and feel the spirit she brings into our home. I can't believe we have waited this long to have another baby, and I hope that we still know what to do with a little one.
