Not happy

The night I got back from Idaho falls I walked in and could smell bleach.  I looked over and saw that my rug had white spots on it.  At first I thought it was a baby powder or something.  But when I picked it up and saw the wet under it and smelt it I knew it was bleach.  I was so sad.  I looked in the cleaning supplies and saw that it was all wet.  When I picked up the bleach it was still brand new and had the lid and seal still on it but had a hole on the bottom.  It had eaten up the wood under it and now there is a hole in the bottom.  uggggg.  So annoying.  

I called the company and they said because I didn't know when I got it and what store, and didn't have a receipt they couldn't do anything about it.  So nice.  When I bought it I was not expecting something like this to happen so I didn't save all that information..... 

First day of school

Elizabeth is going into the fifth grade this year.  She has Mrs. Ford and we found out that she is taller than her teacher.  She is such a sweetheart and is so excited for school this year.  

Brytlee is going into the third grade and is in the oakwood.  This is the first year that I don't have any kids in the Pioneer.  Brytlee is so excited for school and she told me she had such a hard time sleeping because she was so excited.  Her teacher is new and this is only her second year teaching.  Her name is Miss Pitcher and she looks like she will be a great teacher.  

Alexis is in the 8th grade and this is her last year in the Jr. High.  Next year she will be in the high school.  Ahhhhhhhh she needs to slow down.  Alexis is so excited for school, but I think it is to see her friends.  She made a goal this year to get all A's and I know she can do it.  She is such a smart girl.  I was so mad that the school didn't get her grades to us and when I went in to register I found out that they put the address right but it looked like a 3 instead of a 8 so it was sent back to them.  We opened it and Alexis said she felt like crying.  All summer long she had been thinking she did so bad and said she was going to be in so much trouble because she felt like she got bad grades.  When I opened it we were both so happy to see that she had all A's and B's.  She was so worried all summer for nothing.  After that she was so excited and so happy.  

It is so crazy that the first day of school is kinda cold.  They all had to put on sweaters. 

After Adison woke up she had to do my hair.  She brushed it for 20 minutes and then put a little pony in it.  She is so funny and so full of life.  It was so cute because the night before the girls all got a blessing from their dad for school.  Adison didn't want to be left out and also wanted one.  The next night when we were getting ready for bed Adison said, "hey dad can you pray on my head again?"  We all laughed and thought it was so cute.  

Last day

This little boy is such a boy!  He loves to play with balls and cars and anything boyish.  He is a little obsessed with balls and if he has to many that he can see you would think he would pass out with excitement.  

This was the last day that my parents were home.  It was a sad day and at the same time so great.  We woke up and my mom made her famous buttermilk pancakes and then just talked and hung out for a while.  It was so cute to see the kids snuggle with her and my dad.  I know I have said this before, but I really do have the best parents in the world.  Not only are they my parents, but they are my best friends and someone that I would choose to be with everyday if I could.  They are so much fun to be around and just love to have a good time.  I was talking to someone the other day and he said, "if i had to do everything all over again, I would never do it.  This whole family thing is over rated."  It kinda broke my heart for him and his family and grandkids.  He is older and has been through a lot of hard things but I am so glad that I  know that my parents love us and they would do it again.  They love their grandkids and treat them so great and everyone just loves them so much.  I always feel so honored to be apart of such a wonderful family!

we match.  I am so glad that they came home, but now they will be gone for another 11 months..... I don't know if we can all wait that long.  We will for sure have to make a trip to go and see them.   

My parents are the best missionaries and you can tell that everyone in NY loves them.  I am so proud of my parents and for their example to me and my children.  When I grow up I want to be just like them!!!  

Forever

I was so lucky to be able to see the sealing of my mother to her parents and to see the wedding of my grandparents that sealed them together for time and all eternity.  I know it would have been a dream come true for my grandma to have had this happen a long time ago, but I am so glad that I was able to witness it for myself and be apart of such a amazing day.  It was so neat to see and so amazing to be in the temple with most of my family.  My grandpa took his endowments out that same day right before they were sealed and so the entire room was filled with family.  I just keep looking around the room and had to hold back tears of joy.  It was such a great feeling to be there together and to see my mom with her family.  It was also really neat to see them all sealed together as a family and not only that but they had my grandpa's parents sealed together and then he was sealed to his parents.  It was such a wonderful thing to see.  

My grandparents are so cute!  I love them so much and love the way they love each other.  They really are amazing people and I am so happy to be apart of this amazing family they started.  It was so neat to be able to sit with my grandpa in the temple and talk with him.  

How cute are they!!!!!  So proud of my grandpa and the huge thing he has done for his family.  I am so thankful for the blessings the temple gives to us and our family's and I am so grateful that I am able to go inside and do temple work.  It is something that brings the spirit so strong to my heart and I know that it is true.  I am so thankful that I get to be with all my family and loved ones FOREVER.  Not just till death do you part, but for time and all eternity.
After the temple we all went to my parents/ Annette and Robs house and had a big party.  We had the best food, and fun.  It was so nice to have everyone together and it turned out to be a beautiful night.  I asked my Grandparents what their song was when they got married and they said the Tennessee waltz or something like that.  We found it on youtube and played it for them to dance to.  My grandpa's knee was hurting him so he wasn't in the mood for dancing but he was a good sport and my grandma was so happy.  I love her smile and how happy she is.  It was a great party!!!!

Best day ever

WE have been counting down the days like it was going to be Christmas for my parents to come home.  They came home so my mom could be sealed to her parents!  It is so exciting and we couldn't wait!!!

The kids made a cute sign for them and that was so great to have them do so they could kill some time while we were waiting for them at the airport.  

They looked so cute and I loved that my dad matched my mom with his tie!  I really do have the best parents in the whole world.   We were all so happy to see them and so glad that we were going to be able to spend the week with them.  

They didn't get in till 10 and it was about 11 before we left.  i couldn't believe Max was still happy , but he was a little crazy and wanted to ride on the luggage thingy.  We had to leave and get him home to bed.  

Fair

This week was fair week.  It was same weekend as the yardsale I  did and the same week Ryan was gone to Burley Idaho working.  So the girls didn't get to see much of the fair but after we were done with the yard sale I did take them over for a few hours.  They looked at the animals and went on the bouncy house.  There was a  magician doing tricks and they loved that.  

Max has had a fever all week and we have no idea why.  I took him to the doctor and he said it was something viral and he said not to worry about it.  even though he wasn't feeling well he was still a good boy.

Yard sale

Every year I have done a yard sale.  It has done well in the past and I was always glad I did it.  I am still glad I did it this year, but I didn't do as well as normal.  For some reason the only people who came were older and didn't have kids.  There were a few grandparents that bought things for grandkids but I didn't get rid of as much as I wanted.  I am glad I did it just because I got rid of sooooo much stuff and it made me go threw my house and de junk.  I still have so much more to do and just will have to take more trips to the di!

Adison had so much fun trying on all her wold clothes and didn't want to let anything go...... 

Alexis was a great helper and hung out with me when it was so slow....  we had one kitten left and no one wanted it.  Anyone who did want a kitten wanted two of them.... we ended up just taking it out to Grandma and Grandpa Harris's house to join the cat farm....

look what i Can do

Elizabeth was so excited to show me the braid she had taught herself.  It was really cute.  It stayed in for the night and looked great.  I am still not sure how she did it.... even though I watched her do it.  

Adison has been practicing her letters and writing her name..... that means she has to do it on everything she can think of....  with a permeant marker.  oh boy.

The foundation... just a star, not the name

and the stucco.  I worked so hard for a hour to get this one off and she worked on the grill and the driveway.  

This one wouldn't come off and just changed the color of the foundation.... 

The one on the stucco came off and I was so worried it was going to change the color, but the next day it looked normal.  I used a magic eraser and that didn't really work.  Then I used some rubbing alcohol and that took it off a little and then I also used some cleaner called advantage pulse and hairspray.  The one on the grill and toy car came off with a magic eraser and the driveway we used the same as the stucco.....
