Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. Ryan woke up early and played basketball, and then came home for a power nap and then played a game of flag football. After he was done we drove to my family's house and had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. There was so much food (I ate sooooooo much). The kids all had so much fun playing they didn't really eat much at all. We played a really fun game that I don't remember the name... but had wolves, half bloods, priest... and something like that.
The day after Thanksgiving we woke up at 3:30 for the 4:00 sales. We went to the mall first, and then to Shopko, Sears, Target, Fried Myers, Walmart and then home for a minute, and then back to shopping.... It was the longest day of my life. I couldn't believe that I was one of those weird people out shopping so early, and all day. But I got most of my Christmas shopping done, and had some fun doing it. After all the shopping was over, we took the kids to the pool and swam for a couple of hours. Then home for bed! I don't remember a time that it felt sooooooooo good to go to sleep!!!

The Movies

The girls and I went to see Madagascar 2. It was so funny, cute, and all that. We loved it loved it!
There was some parts that really had us laughing. I was a little sad that I wasn't standing in the hour long line for the Twilight, but I had a great little date with my girls. I am hoping that if I let a couple of weeks go by the lines will die down, and then I can just buy a ticket like any other movie and walk right in....
I was so happy on the way home I filled up with gas, and a full tank of gas was only 28 bucks!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!! This winter when the price of gas was over three dollars, I had to pay 70 bucks for one tank of gas, (just makes me sick) so I was very happy today!

Bloody Mary

Alexis came home for school telling me stories about some girls in the bathroom... saying the saw a ghost, and that it would open the doors with a big gust of wind, and then scratch you when you were going to the bathroom.... And that if you looked in the mirror you could see the ghost. I tried to tell her it wasn't real, and this is how that all went down..
Me, "you know that they are kidding right"
her, "then how did the door open"?
Me,"Some one probably kicked it open and then ran off"
her, "then how did the girl get a scratch"?
Me, "she probably scratched herself"
her, "no, it is real"
Me, "no it is not"
her, "the kids say it is real"
Me, "Lexy, It isn't real"
and then she just walked away shaking her head, like I don't know anything, and I have never been to school and so I would never understand....
So really though, do you all remember this kind of stuff at school? If you say bloody Mary in the mirror three times with the lights off, she will show up in the mirror.... OHHHHHHWWW

Funny story

The girls and I were over visiting a neighbor yesterday and his wife passed away two years ago. He has missed her so much and has not been the same person from it. So when we got there, he was smiling from ear to ear, and so happy. He told us that he had visit from his wife, and she let him know that she was great, and there was life after death. (It was a really cute story he told us)
So later that night, Alexis kept asking questions, and wondering why no one ever comes to see her... I told her "probably because it would scare you to death, and no one close to you has passed away" then she named all the people she knew that had died that could come and chat with her.
After I put her to bed, 10 minutes latter she came running to me, and said, "Mom, I almost saw someone".

Pajama party

Alexis had her first pajama party at school today. She was so excited she woke up once in the night, and then for good at 6:00. (that is not like her at all. We usually have to drag her out of bed half asleep and then spend 45 minutes getting her to wake up and not be a grump)
I went and helped her class this morning and it was so cute seeing all the kids in their pj's. They were able to watch a movie, and eat some treats. They all brought a blanket, pillow, and slippers so they could be comfy. She was so excited! I love Alexis's teacher, she is so nice, and one of the best teachers.
Elizabeth said something really funny today. My friend Sharie was coming to our house today and so I said to Elizabeth, "should we do your hair? My friend that did the makeup party is going to be here soon". Elizabeth said, "what was her name"? I told her "Sharie"
"Oh, but her real name is Bob"...... I couldn't help but laugh. For some reason she called Sharie Bob the last time she was here also.

Alexis School Picture 2008

Alexis brought her picture home from school today and although it is adorable, I am trying to figure out if I should do retakes or not. She has a look on her face that is not really a true smile, but still cute... I don't know what to do. Ryan said he really liked it and loved her blue eye's so we may just stick with it.
Alexis is so sassy now that she is ALL GROWN UP.... ha ah. She keeps telling me "WHATEVER" and "DUH" I didn't think that started this early? I guess I was "LIKE TOTALLY WRONG".
I can not even count how many LIKE LIKE LIKE she says in a day. Oh, and she just yelled at Elizabeth and called her "Kid" she is so funny.
I love you Alexis!

Brad and Sara had their baby yesterday at 4p.m. She was 7 lbs, and 1 oz. Everything went very fast and Mom and Baby are both doing very well. I can not wait to see her! I have not heard for sure on a name but I think she is going to be Ava.

Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween this year! We all love to dress up as you can tell!

Early in the day the girls and I got dressed up and went to Alexis's school to help with the Halloween party. It was a lot of fun, and so cute to watch all the kids play all the games and get all dressed up. I read Halloween stories to the kids and had a fun finger puppet treat for them.

Elizabeth, Alexis, Sydney, and Ashlynn
So cute
My big daddy pimp with his sweet grill, and me the witch!
My pimp and little ducky

Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Super Girl!
The girls loved the trunk or treat. Brytlee was so cute, she would take one at first and want to open it. I told her to put it in her bag and then go get some more.... after about three people she got the hang of it and would go up to them, say "trick or treat" and then grab two hand fulls of candy and then run to the next trunk.... it was funny.

Brytlee was very hot in her little duck suit and didn't like it very much.....
My super sweet eye lashes, and red, red lip stick!
Ewwwh..... baby, he is looking soooooooooo good!
We went to Ryan's Grandma's house and the girls did a trick or treat. (they got a treat)

Minutes before I finally gave in and took the duck suit off of Brytlee. She went from sad and tired to bouncing of the walls as soon as it was off.

We went to Ryan's parents house, and saw some of the cousins in there costumes. They all look so cute!
We went to a spooky house after that and the girls loved it. (Elizabeth was a little scared, but as long as I was with her she was alright) Brytlee loved it and wanted to keep going again and again. When we left she kept saying "bye bye spooky" all the way home. We made one last stop at Ryan's sisters house before we went home, and they were gone.... She left candy on the front door steps so Elizabeth said, "lets just take it" It was so cute.... then Ryan went inside and trashed the place. He put toilet paper all over and then pulled the couch apart, and took the pillows of the bed.... The girls and I didn't think that was very nice, so........ I am so sorry Hamblins....

Alexis Cheer Pictures

Alexis had her first performance for this year and she did a great job. She is really enjoying it and is getting really good at her jumps, moves, and gym.

She was practicing her toe touches and was doing a great job. I caught a bunch of funny faces when she was jumping and had to post them.

Her friends Justy and Kasey. They lived next door for a few years, but moved a couple blocks away... we have stayed good friends and Alexis is so glad she gets to take cheer with them.

It was so funny.... in the middle of the performance Alexis forgot where she was suppose to be and when she figured out that she needed to be on the girls back she ran and just jumped on her, and the little girl fell down.... Ryan and I couldn't help but laugh.... it was so cute.

Good job Alexis!!! You did a great job and we loved watching and cheering for you!

Ryan shot an Elk

Ryan and his Dad both shot a Elk the other day.... They were both girls and Ryan thinks it was a mother and daughter.... Ryan's dad shot the mom (which was huge) and Ryan shot the daughter.
It is big, but not as big as the mum

Brytlee and the Binky

Brytlee found our neighbors Binky in our back yard and thought it was the funniest thing ever. She has never had a Binky in her life, and was thrilled to try one out. She would put it in her mouth......

And then start laughing so hard. She would try to suck it, but couldn't stop laughing long enough to try it to long.

I had a hard time not laughing with her because it was so dang cute. The best part about it... she knew she was being funny.
I just love the huge bugger in her nose in this picture.....
