working hard.

So far this summer this has been one of the biggest projects.  It is one that is so fun to see the changes and I am loving how it looks.  There was a TON of weeds in the flower bed and a few plants that had to be moved.  Then the dirt was not level and there was to much dirt... so we tilled it under a few times and took many, many loads of dirt out of the flower beds and then went shopping with my good friend Stephanie to buy all the plants.  She has done this four or five times and knows a lot more about flowers and plants than I do so I was so glad she was willing to help me.

Ryan put the drip line in so we don't have to worry about watering them all the time.

I am so excited to get the other side of the house going.....

Adison has been so excited about her flowers and has started to point out flowers that she likes in other peoples yards as we are driving around.  It is so cute how she is so interested in how the yard is looking and is noticing others now.  (all the kids are now)  It has been so much work, but I am so excited to do it because I love to see what it looks like when it is done.

Sunday bike ride

So there is a tree down from our house that the girls went to a few times with my friend from Rigby, Amy Hancocks kids.  They still love this tree and think it is so fun to climb around in it and it really is a great tree.  It would be a fun one to build a tree house in.

I loved this picture of Lizzy

My girls looking far away in the distance......

My beautiful girls.  So lucky to be their mom!

I love this one.  Adison with her little head tilt in her swim suit like always.  I love my girls and all the cute things they do.

Brytlee came and grabbed me and said she found the perfect spot to take a picture.  I am glad I listened to her because it looks great.  She is such a beauty!

I had to drive to the airport to pick up a few things and Adison came along for the ride.  It was so hot and she came out in a sweater and sweats..... she really has her seasons messed up because all winter she was wearing a swimsuit with a skirt or something like that..... On the way home from the airport I heard a thud and looked back and she had fallen over and was snoring.  She was so tired I couldn't even wake her up.  She played hard and crashes hard.

Happy Birthday Alexis

Alexis turned 13 this year.  I have a teen...... so crazy.  She talked me into letting her have a friend party this year.  She was great to help get the house clean and get it all ready.

I wasn't sure how many kids to plan on having but I think there was 23 girls that showed up for the party.  Then Elizabeth had 2 friends and Brytlee had a friend and Adison had a friend.   There was a lot of kids....

I made a huge pot of taco soup for the party and I ended up not having enough for everyone.  I was so shocked that we had that many kids at our house.  I had to make five of them hot dogs and get them a few other things to eat..... I felt so bad.

It was really nice to get to know Alexis's friends and I was impressed with a lot of them.  She has such a sweet group of friends and they were all so nice and fun to have over.   It was funny while they were on the tramp doing tricks I went out and showed them the tick tock and they all couldn't believe I could do it.  "for my age...."  Ryan went out and set up a target and let them all shoot the bb gun and took score and they all just played and ran around.  It was a great day outside and the weather was perfect.  We were so nervous about it raining sense it had rained the whole month of may.

Alexis had her real birthday on Sunday this year and so we made her a yummy dinner and some of her favorite things.  She had prime rib, spinach salad, with rice.  Then a cheesecake.

Alexis has been asking me to cut her hair all school year.  I loved her long hair and it was so dang pretty.  But she wouldn't stop asking and wanted it so bad that I gave in.  It is still cute and looks very healthy.

cute kids.

Adison loves to have her pictures taken.  She is so fun and always comes up with ideas on how she wants her pictures done.

Max is at a stage that he doesn't really like having his picture taken and tries to fall and hide.

this little boy sure knows how to melt my heart.

Max loves to go down the slide so we put one on the stairs thinking he would do it all day long, but instead he will only do it if you are with him.

We had a crazy wind storm that blew down trees, and killed a family in a boat at bear lake.  It was so fast and such hard wind.  We didn't have anything bad happen but it did knock the satellite off the roof.

Last weeks of school

Elizabeth had to do a big oral book report for one of her projects at school.  She worked so hard on it and did a slideshow for it.  She was so good about getting it done as soon as she found out about it and did all of it all by herself.   She did a great job and got a A.

Brytlee had a talent show for her end of the year program.  She did jump rope and did it along with music.  She was so excited all week long for it.  They did the cutest songs and poems and just had a great program.  Brytlee loved her teacher so much this year and did so great in all she did at school.  She Is such a smart little girl

Grandpa and Grandma are always so good to come and support the kids.  (Even when I told them it was at 2.... when it was really at 12.  Ooops.  )

Brytlee loved playing with Landon at school and always asked if he could come and play.  He is a cute little boy and they play together so cute.

Alexis had her end of the year concert and she did great.  We have not had a ton of time to practice with all the sports she is doing and it has been hard, but I was so impressed with how well she did.  We were thinking about not doing it next year, but after I saw how good she was doing and how great the group sounded I told her she needed to keep it up.
