Our Pet Status

So in the past month, we went from having no pets, (except for our pet flies) to having three.... We went to a ward party, and they had a fish pond with real fish in it. And if you catch one, you get to take it home. What a treat... so now we have two gold fish!
Then Ryan comes home and tells me that he and his dad found a abandoned kitten for the girls. The mom had gotten run over or something like that. It is so little that I get to feed it with a tiny bottle, and give it baths because it doesn't know not to sleep in it's own pooh..... the only reason I am willing to do this, is because my girls have already fallen in love with it.

Elizabeth is trying to feed the kitten it's bottle, but it scratches the crap out of your hands when it eats so she quickly handed it over to me.
Brytlee was drinking her bottle, and the kitten climbed onto her chest and was trying to drink with her. She didn't really like that so right when I took the picture she was trying to get it off of her.
If you can think of any great names for it, let me know. Alexis likes Gizzy, but I told her it is to close to Lizzy. So for right now, it is nameless.....

My Clown

Ryan was a clown this last weekend at the Demolition Derby. My Brother in law Dan was also a clown, and they were great. I had a lot of good laughs at them both. Ryan had a paint ball gun, and was shooting the cars, and Dan with it. He would throw a football in the stands and then turn around and had a target on his bum and let them try and hit it, and then throw candy.
He also took a four-wheeler on a ride, and had a great crash.
He was the cutest clown with the skinniest, sexy legs ever.... (really his legs are tinny, and he has a award from our last cruise to prove it..... MR. CHICKEN LEGS)

The Circus!

When my family was visiting a couple of weeks ago, My parents, Annette and I were out and about shopping, when all of a sudden we saw an Elephant! We couldn't believe our eyes, so we walked into the park and found out a Circus was in town, and we didn't even know about it! So we called Ryan and had him pack up all seven kids and we went to the Circus!!!!I was so excited to ride an Elephant!!!! I don't know why, but I have always wanted to do this, so now I can check it on my things to do list!

There was Lions and tigers, but no Bears?
The kids all liked it and sat very well through it even though it was supper hot in the tent.

Brytlee lasted about a hour, and then she wanted to run around!
My parents! They are so much fun. After the Circus was over My dad and Ryan took the little kids home (and we thought they would put them to bed) but they were awake until we got home at 1:00.
My mom, Annette, Summer, Karsten, Alexis and I went to the Olive Garden and had some really yummy food, and then went to Walmart until the Stephanie Myer book came out at midnight! So much fun!
Elizabeth wanted to take a picture.... she's not bad!

We really hate to have our pictures taken, can't you tell?

Back to School

My little girl is in the first grade!!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone!
This is her best friends, the Marlow girls!
Elizabeth was feeling left out, and wanted to get a picture also!
This is her teacher, and we have heard so many great things about her! Alexis was so happy to have such a nice teacher, and was so excited to meet her!
This is her desk, and she really isn't that little... for some reason she has the smallest chair!
I have been so nervous about this day, and I have had so many mixed emotions. I feel like I am going to go crazy not seeing her all day, and I know her sisters are going to miss her like crazy. I just hope and pray that I have taught her the things that she will need to know to make the right choices and that she will make great friends. I know that she is the best little girl ever, and I just don't want anyone to ever tell her different, or to hurt her in anyway.
After I dropped her of at school this morning I had such a hard time walking away from her... I also had a really hard time making sure I didn't cry.

Last week before school

I have a lot of catching up to do..... So here are some of the things that we have been doing the past couple weeks! The girls have been busy playing as always!

Brytlee has been playing with our phones so they are often of the hook with out us knowing....

It is so cute when she pretends to talk to someone. She will always put it to her ear and say hewow.. and then do some more gibberish and laugh on and of like she is so big and having a conversation. But if you have someone on the phone talking to her... it kinda freeks her out?
Brytlee loves to push things around, so I bought her a stroller for her baby and she has loved it!

She is so funny to watch with her baby doll, she gives it kisses, and then will pick it up and rock it, pat it's back and say... "sh sh sh sh sh" it is so cute!

Alexis has been practicing her braiding skills. She had to take a picture!
We had a great time in Idaho Falls with all of our family! We love to go swimming at the pool house!

I had to put this on..... Sorry Annette, you just look so beautiful!
We had a little scare while we were at the pool house this night... I had put Brytlee in the little pool to play and was playing volleyball with all the family, and while I was doing that, Brytlee had slipped and fell, and couldn't get up because the swim suit she had on was making her float. So my mom went to grab her, and she slipped and fell in the water. Everyone was fine thank goodness! I felt so bad that my mom had fell in and gotten her clothes all wet.
Alexis is such a crafty, creative girl! She decided to make crown's for her Grandpa Harris for his birthday party. They turned out pretty good!
This was so cute! My girls with their Uncle Chris!
Elizabeth was so funny, she wanted a picture with just her and Chris.... so every time I went to take it, Alexis would jump in, and Elizabeth would push her away.
This was suppose to be just Elizabeth and Chris, but Alexis jumped in the picture just in time! It turned out so cute! We were able to go to Chris's candy shop and see him make some yummy caramel apples! He made Apple pie, snickers, sprinkles (for the girls), rocky road, almond joy, butterfingers, and they all turned out so dang good!!!! His shop should be opening pretty soon!
The day after we got back from our trip, we went with the Harris family swimming, and had such a great time! The kids all had so much fun with Grandpa (the shark) and Alexis was jumping of the diving board, and diving in the deep water from the side of the pool. And all the kids were going down the slides by themselves. (except for Brytlee) So the big kids (grown ups) were seeing who could go down the fast slide and go fast enough to make it to the wall through the water. Denton (Ryan's dad) had it figured out and could do it every time. I sucked really bad, so he gave me a few tips on how to do it.
Keep your butt up, flex your body, keep your hands up... all that stuff. So I went down and had my body as stiff as I could get it, and had my butt up, my back arched, and toes pointed, and instead of going across the water, I went straight down, and hit my toes, and rolled my ankle... and then if flipped me to my face and did a nice belly flop. It hurt so bad I thought I was going to pass out in the water.
I am so glad that a fat ankle and a funny walk is all that happened! I think of my brother Chris and how crappy it would be to have your ankle broken. I can't even imagine how bad it would hurt....
Besides my little ankle problem. We have had such a great summer, and I am so sad to see it over.

Knapp Family Reunion

We had a fun weekend, and were able to attend a family Reunion. It was for Ryan's side, the Knapp family. We went up to his Uncle Walt's cabin and there was a great turn out with lots of great food!
This is Uncle Walt. He is Ryan's Grandma Adra Harris's Brother.
They had lots of fun things for the kids to do.

We went on a little hike, and Brytlee's legs couldn't go fast enough down hill, and she fell a few times, but wouldn't let me carry her.

Denton (Ryan's dad) started a water fight, and Judy was one of the first ones to get wet!
There wasn't very many dry people left by the time they all gave up....

But the people who have little kids were all inside, and they did stay dry!
Alexis is the only one who really wanted to get wet, and stayed dry... she was looking forward to being in the water fight, but who can throw water at a little girl?
