Temple Girls

I have always talked about going to the temple at least once a month with Lex or getting a group of girls together that would want to carpool or doing something so Alexis could get more time in the temple.  But I have been so bad and this is the first time I have gone with her.  I called a few friends for her to go with her and no one could go so It was just the two of us.

As soon as we got to the Temple I pulled out my recommend and noticed that it had expired 15 days ago.... I was so sad.  I told Alexis that she would have to do it alone and I would just watch.  When we got in the guy was so sweet and just told me to call someone in the bishopric and they would let me in.  I asked him if my husband could do it because he was in the bishopric and he just kinda laughed.   I was so glad that I was able to go with her.

It was such a neat experience to be in the temple with my daughter.  I was so filled with happiness and the spirit that I couldn't help but cry.  I have not done baptisms sense I was a teen so I had forgotten everything I was suppose to do.  It was funny to have Alexis showing me around and telling me how to do everything.

It really was such a great experience to go to the temple with my daughter and I look forward to doing it a lot more.  I am so thankful for the gospel and for the joy it brings into our lives and blessings it gives our family.  I was so touched when they gave us the blessings and said, "receive the holy ghost"  I just imagined not having the holy ghost for your entire life and then finally receiving it after you were dead and what a powerful feeling it must be.  I could not imagine living without the gift of the holy ghost in my life and I am so thankful that I have the blessing of having it with me always.  It is such a comforting feeling and something I love to feel.   Temples are amazing and I am so thankful I can do my part to help.

What is cuter than cute?

This boy!

It is amazing how much we all just love this little boy of ours.  The girls and I just can not hug and kiss him enough and he is just a complete joy in our lives.  I am so thankful for this little boy!  He is growing up so fast and is so much fun.  He loves to play with balls and will play soccer and kick them around so cute.  He only kicks with his left foot right now but he will eat with his left and right hand.  It will be interesting to see if he is right handed or left?  He is talking more and will day so many things.  The ones he says the most are
There you go
There he is
Good girl
Good boy
Thank you
yes
Da DA
Momma
ball
mmmmmmm  (when he wants to eat something)
and he does the sign for all done when he is done eating.

Elizabeth bought this cute little bow tie for Max when she went to the side walk sales.  She was so excited for him to wear it to Church and he looked so handsome in it.

I loved this picture of the two of them.  Max is such a sweet boy and will give us all hugs and kisses and I love it.  When he hugs me he will rub or pat my back like I do to him.  He is at such a fun age and I am loving it.

Bear lake

Elizabeth had another tournament in Bear Lake and we were lucky enough to stay at a cabin with some of Lizzys friends.  It was the Archibald's cabin and it was fun to get to know them better.  The cabin was beautiful and had the most amazing view.

We went into Garden City for dinner that night and went to a really cute place called the covered wagon.  It has a bunch of fancy wagons and tents that you can rent out for "glamping"  Then the restaurant is in the middle.

The kids had fun playing at the park for a little while and then we went back up to the cabin.

We had to wake up early and get to the first game on Saturday.  We just stopped at the store and grabbed donuts for breakfast and Adison was so excited and told me I needed to take a picture of hers because it was so big.  Elizabeth played Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and the team has gotten so much better than they were in the beginning.  They had a lot of fun but ended up losing the first game on Saturday so they were done after that.

Ryan flew over to the game on Friday and Saturday and was able to hang out with us at the games.  He is getting really close to having his pilots license, so soon we can all just fly back and forth together.

Lava Hot Springs

Adison has been so sleepy ever sense we had the flu.  It has really taken a lot out of all of us that had it.  Who knows when we will all get back to normal.  We went to Lava with all of Ryans family.  It is something I hope we do at least once a year every year.  It is so fun to take the kids and stay for the day.  Ryan had to work that day so I waited for him and let Max take his nap and sent Brytlee and Lizzy with Alecia.  Alexis was at girls camp so she wasn't able to go this year.....

They have a fun little play area inside for the little kids to play and get warm.

Max liked the slide until the big tub of water dumped on his head.

Brytlee was brave and jumped of one of the diving boards with Ryan.  Elizabeth jumped of this one and I think the second one up.

I loved this picture.  It looks like Ryan is standing on the water.  We stayed until the pool closed and had so much fun with the everyone.

Birthday Party

Hank Had a birthday party at his house that I thought started at five but after we got there I found out it had started at 1.... Ryan just told me five because that was the time he got of work and he wanted to go to the party also.   So we missed most of it but the kids still had a lot of fun and were able to play.

I love the funny faces max makes.

Julie had borrowed a snow cone maker from her neighbors and they had the flavors and everything.  My kids all had two or three snow cones......

I was laying on our bed the other morning and was watching Ryan and Max.  Ryan was shaving and Max was just watching him so close and not moving at all.  I thought it was the cutest daddy/son moment.

Ryan has been working a ton this summer and it feels like he is always gone.  Alexis and I stayed up and had a little girl time the other night.  We watched Miss Congeniality and put some stickers on our toes.

Alexis did the whole pedicure and gave me a great foot rub.

We had some great looking toes!

Max loves to look at books and will just stare at the pages and pictures.  He is growng up so fast and is turning into a little boy instead of my baby.....

So Adison came up to me and smiled really big and said, "Mom do you like my nipples?"  I gasped and said, "What?"  then she pointed to her checks and said, "do you like my nipples again?"  Then I understood that she was asking if I liked her dimples and had to correct her.  She is such a funny girl.

Going back home.

On the road again.  this boy was so tired after playing hard at the reunion.  We left early so he could get a nap on the road, and I had to get home to my oldest girls and Ryan.  The Franklin Days Fireworks were going that night and I wanted to go to them with all the kids.

We stopped at my Grandma and Grandpa Muellers to grab and old lawn mower from them they didn't use anymore and hang out for a little while.  They are such great people and I feel so special to be their family.  My grandpa has changed a lot the past year and is so happy and smiles all the time.  I loved that Adison cuddled up with him on the swing and he just looked so happy.

I have always thought that my grandma is just the most beautiful women inside and out.  She is always so happy and ready to have fun and laugh.  I don't know anyone else that is always so willing to do something for you.  If I tell her I love her salsa...(which I do)  she will go out of her way to make it for me and make sure I get some to take home.  When we were leaving to go home she went in and grabbed a goody bag for us with a bunch of candy and gum and drinks in it.  My grandparents really are the best and I love them so much!!!!

After we got home that night we went to the fireworks and it was the first time Max had ever been to anything like that or stayed up so late.  He was a little shaken up at first but as soon as he laid down on his daddy's chest he just held still and watched them so quite and cute.  I think he was still a little scared but he didn't make a sound.
