Trip to Idaho Falls

It has been forever sense we have been to Rigby for a little stay cation and my kids were so excited about it.  They love to go to grandma and grandpa's house but it is a little weird to call it Annette and Robs house now sense they are staying there while my parents are on their mission.  But it was still as fun as ever and the kids all had such a great time playing with all the cousins.  Sara and her kids were there also and so it was a party!

We went to the Rigby lake and the kids all had a great time.  They have made the lake so nice and it is a great sandy beach.  They put a dock in that has a slide and the kids all had a great time.  I loved this picture they took.  I told them to all pose like a model and this is what they did.  I love Jex puffing his belly out and lex is sticking her bum out.  They all look great and are so funny.

Adison loved swimming in the water and building sand castles in the sand.

Max wasn't afraid of the water and had a great time  knocking down every ones sand castles.

The bigger kids spent a lot of time swimming out to the dock and jumping and diving off.

Sara's mom made this beautiful desert for a activity day's thing and then it was canceled.... so we all lucked out and were able to eat it.

The kids loved finding salamanders under the trampoline, they also floated down the canal over and over again each day.  They played outside almost the entire time and had so much fun.  They all wanted to sleep outside each night and took turns sleeping on the trampoline or in the tree house.

One of the nights we were able to sneak away and have a girls night.  Chris was nice enough to come and supervise sense we had almost twenty kids at the house..... We went to Jonny Corrino's and had a fun time.  I am so lucky to have such great sisters!!!

We all tried out some bright red lipstick.

We were able to go and try out a fun class with Sara, Ashley and Connie one morning and it was so much fun.  It was called fly fitness and it is kinda like yoga but better.  It is a great stretch and workout.  I was surprised that I was sore the next day because I didn't even feel like I worked out.  It was more like playing.

Tessa and Ava had a lemonade stand at Cindy's house one morning so we loaded up all the kids and bought all that they had.  It was so cute to see them out holding up the sign and working in the cute little stand.

I was able to go and help Chris and Cindy at a catering event they did.  They served some really yummy food and some amazing desert.  It was worth it to just get to eat the leftovers...  I do have fun doing that sort of thing so it would be fun to live close and get to go help more often.  (but I think I would be 300 lbs because he makes the best food ever)

The happy helping crew

When we got home the kids found snakes.  It was a good thing Chris and Cindy were not there.  They would have just jumped in the car and never came back.

We went out and did a little shopping.   ha ha....

Summer thought that our drivers licenses looked alike and had to get a picture of them.  I hate my picture because I had just had max and my face looks as big as a blimp.  I had to tell Summer that she is wayyyyyy cuter than I have ever been and that we don't look alike...

But then we had to take a couple dozen pictures just to see.

She is such a sweet, adorable, amazing, fun, smart, awesome girl!  I just love her

Annette and I went to some Yard Sales on Saturday morning and I took Brytlee along with us just for some girl time.  She really wanted to pick some sunflowers so we pulled over on the way home to get her some.

We went to the Grant ward picnic and we were so excited about it.  We have been cooking for all these kids and it feels like they eat non stop and then you have to clean up a million times when they eat so having a nice meal out of the house with a ton of kids was so nice.  The kids all had such a great time and played all the games.  Brytlee was playing football with Dillion Stucki (I grew up with him) and she was being ruff and grabbed the ball away and he turned to her and said, "your just as mean as your mother was!"  she just looked at him like.... you know my mom?  It was funny.  It really is so fun to see all the people I grew up with and see their kids and see how they are doing now.  It is crazy how when you get talking it feels like no time has gone by at all.

They had water balloons and Max was in heaven until her dropped it and it popped.

Adison and Joslynn kept theirs for the longest.  They balloons got little holes in them so they just drank the water.

Summer, Karsten and I had to run to Brolums for some milk and other things and it is so weird how things have changed.  I swear before you could never go into town without seeing everyone you knew.  Now no one goes out and all the old hang outs are empty.  I think it is so sad.

We were gone for a whole week because Ryan was at scout camp for two days and then in Bear Lake working on the Kings for most of the rest of the week.  Ryan was missing us and we were missing him so bad that Sunday morning Ryan flew into Rigby and surprised us all.  It was such a great surprise and I was so happy to see him.  (so was his little man, and his little girls)

Rob is now the wart doctor and I really hope that we are done having these dumb warts.  Lizzy just had two little ones on her hand and he got them out without any problems and I think they are gone for good.

On Sunday we had a dinner with everyone and it was the first time in such a long time that we have all been together.  It was so great but we were missing my parents.  It just isn't the same without my moms yummy home made rolls and good cooking.

We all jumped in and had a quick picture before everyone had to leave.  It turned out cute and everyone looks great.  Summer just had her nice camera and put it on a timer and all's we are missing is grandma and grandpa....

Max loved wearing this minnie mouse hat.  He looked so cute in it!  We all had such a great time and all the kids were so tired by the time we had to leave.  I think they could have slept for a few days.... I am so glad I was able to spend some great time with family!
