Oregon Coast 3

The flowers were so beautiful!  I have tried to grow flowers like this and they have never made it.

We were looking for something to do and I remembered when I was checking out the condo online there was a  lot of pictures of a big waterfall.  So we asked around to see if anyone knew where it was and not very many people could tell us anything about it.  Finally, someone knew where it was and gave us directions.  There was a really cool bridge on the drive and it had a beautiful house on the other side  It was such a cool drive and the trees were so thick you could hardly see threw them.  All along the road you could see that people live there, but you could never really see the houses.  It was unreal how beautiful it was.

We went on a one mile hike to find the waterfall and it was so quite and peaceful.  There were so many cool plants and the tree's were amazing.  The only think that felt like it was missing was moneys swinging on the vines.

This is a big red wood tree that had fallen over and now has tons of ferns and other things growing on it.

My kids all said that this was the coolest bridge that they have ever been on.  It was one of the free suspended bridges so when you walk on it, it swings a little and will bounce.  it was very cool and I have always wanted to go on one after watching Indiana Jones… but I am just glad that it was a lot stronger .

The forest that we were walking in had a lot of the big red wood tree's in it.  They are so huge!

Sara said, "Hey Jill, wanna see something cool?"  So I walk over and she clicks a picture as I am looking down with a big double chin… very sneaky.  The other funny trick I learned was one Jex did to me.  He said, "did you know that if your hand is bigger than your face it means you have cancer?"  So I put my hand up and he pushes my hand and makes me hit myself in my face .  Ha ha

Adison found the perfect spot for a potty break.

The two little girls were being so cute with Grandpa and Adison was singing him songs and one was the one from frozen.  As soon as Joslynn started to join in, Adison stopped her and said, "no, this is my song"  She also was telling grandpa story after story.  It was pretty funny.  I loved this picture of them because my dad knows Adison well and knew that she would be taking a picture with some spice, so he put his hands on his hips and pokes his but out like she does.  He is so cute!

this is another red wood that had fallen over so we thought we would take a picture of it to show how big around the base was.

Annette said her dream was to always go Whale watching and she really wanted to go…. I said that we could go whale watching from our back porch but she said it wasn't the same.  So we went on a little boat and went looking for some whales.  I thought it was really funny when they parked the boat right in front of our condo.

It was fun to go on the Morning star and see some whales up close and the captain told us a few cool facts about the whales we saw.   The girls loved it and we all had a good time together.

The girls wanted to go to some shops and see a few more things so we ended up walking home.  It was only a few blocks so it was fun.  And we got to take a few funny pictures as we walked.

Ryan sent me this picture of the two of them from the air show.  They are so dang cute and just makes me miss them more.

So while we were on that little boat for an hour I got a little sea sick.  It was weird because I never felt sick or anything, I just knew that I was going to throw up, and as soon as I did I felt fine.  There was a cute little pregnant girl standing next to me and I didn't want to make her throw up so I just said, "Ummmm I think I am going to barf, so you are going to want to move." and then out it came.

Thank goodness my sister was there to take pictures and laugh at the whole thing!  Ha Ha
