Going on a trip

The very same day that my Grandpa was baptized we were leaving to go on a family vacation with all of the Merrill's to the Oregon Coast.  We all decided to drive and it is a very, very, very long drive so Sara borrowed her sisters RV and we took it for all the kids to ride in.  It was so nice to have room for the kids to color, and watch a movie, take a nap, do a craft, play dolls, and whatever we needed to do to keep them busy.   The first day we left a little late so we only made it to Boise.

This was so cute.  Adison was so tired but really wanted to color and fell asleep in the process.    Ryan couldn't come with us because he had to work and get ready to pour more concrete.  He was really nervous about Max being in the RV and kept telling me that he was going to get hurt.  I thought it would be fine and I was going to have him with me the whole time and was not worried at all.  But then the last minute before we were leaving Ryan ended up telling me that he was just going to keep Max home with him so he didn't have to worry about him and so I would be able to have fun with the older girls.  I didn't know how to feel about it because I really wanted to be with my baby, but knew that it would be a little easier without him.
I missed Max so much every day and really hated that part, but it was fun to get to play and not worry about naps and strollers and diapers on the trip.  The girls were all so excited and had so much fun with their cousins.
