Summer time

Max has been such a good sport going from game to game, and place to place and hanging out in his car seat or just chilling in his stroller.  With three girls all doing sports, we go to a lot of games.  

Alexis has started her bug collection this summer because she will be in the 7th grade which means she has to do the bug collection and the plant collection.  I am not ready for that.  I have noticed already that it is going to be more work for the parents….. 

The girls are growing so much.  Alexis can wear a lot of my old clothes that I am working to fit in again some day….:(  and Elizabeth is just a little shorter and smaller so she is not there yet.  But it is crazy to see how grown up they are looking.  The both tried on this dress that I wore for my wedding breakfast and wore in our engagement photo.   Having Alexis in such a little size, it has been so fun to shop for her and buy things that I would wear myself…. I hope someday that I can get back down to the size I feel the best in.

Alexis played in the three on three tournament this year again.  It was a lot of work and they played against some very good teams.  They took second place out of the whole thing.  I could not believe how hot it was and felt so bad that they had to play all day in the heat.  

My latest hair style that I have been doing on the girls.  It is so easy and it looks so cute on them.  

Grandpa is always so cute with our kids and our baby's.  He really loves to play with baby's and take care of them.  They get very attached to him at a very young age.  We are at their house saying goodbye to grandpa for a little while because he is going on a business trip to Ecuador and will be gone for three months or longer.  I don't know how my kids are going to make it that long without some grandpa time.  We are going to miss him like crazy, and I know that Grandpa is going to be missing all of his grandkids even more.  He is such a wonderful father in law, and grandpa.  WE love him so very much!

We all love to be outside.  The girls have been playing with the sprinklers under the tramp, and down the slide.  Anyway to keep cool on the hot summer days.  WE just LOVE summer time. 

I love it when my kids fall asleep on my shoulder like this.  I wish it happened more often.  

My kids always come up with some creative ways to play with each other.  I was cleaning up when I could hear something sliding across the floor over and over.  And when I checked it out, this is what I found.  Brytlee was pushing max around in a box.  It is so funny how they have more fun with boxes than they do their own toys.
