It is July!!!!

Lizzy is so silly.  When we were in Boise she had a $1.00 and she wanted to buy something really bad.  She went down to the gift shop and saw a really cute little basket that said $1.00 on it.  So she was so excited and picked it up and took it to the register.  When they rang her up they ended up handing her a little plastic thing instead of the basket.  (it was what was in the basket)  it ended up being a shower cap.  She didn't say anything of coarse and just took it and went back to the room.

When we were in St. George Sara got us hooked on fruit smoothies.  When we came home we were in withdraws from our yummy sweet treat.  I had a yard sale and made a goal to make enough money to buy a nice vitamiamix mixer with the money.  The one I wanted was a little over $500 bucks from Costco so I had a lot of money to make.  I ended up only making $250 at our yardsale, but then I ended up selling the rest online.  I made about $350 so I still had a ways to go for the one I wanted.  But then I was reading Facebook and saw a add for one.  I read a lot about the refurbished blenders which are the ones that don't pass inspection so they go back and fix them before they sell them.  Then they only sell those ones online.  But they still have all the warranty and are just as good as buying them at full price, but they are way cheaper.  So I ended up getting the exact one I wanted for only $300 and I got a gift card to Amazon for going through the website I found that I read about.  We have been using it like crazy and are loving the smoothies.  We have made salsa and a spinach dip with it also, and there are so many other cool things we can do with it.
It was so cute because when I was counting up the money I had earned from our yard sale Alexis asked me if I made enough to buy our mixer.  When I told her no she ran up to her room and grabbed the $100 that she had earned and gave it to me.  She told me that she wanted the mixer just as bad as I did and she wanted to help.  It made my heart melt to see how sweet she was being but I had to tell her there was no way I was going to let her do that.  She wouldn't take her money back and was  being so funny about it.  I had to tell her that it wasn't that I couldn't go buy it, but it was just a goal that I had made to make that much so I could earn it that way.  She still wouldn't take her money back so we just went in put it in the bank for her.

It is July which means it is time for lots of parades, and fun events.  We love to go to the Idaho days in Franklin, and to the fireworks that they do.  We always lay on the grass at night and they are just right above us.

My girls are giving grandpa all the loves they can before he has to leave on his long trip.  He is so sweet and gave them each 10 bucks for them to each go and find something they wanted from the booths in the park.

Elizabeth used her money to play and for a treat.  Brytlee bought a cute frozen necklace, and a treat, Adison bought frozen p.j. dress, and Alexis found a really cute poke dot maxi skirt that she bought.

My little princess!

And Elizabeth the underwear warrior.

It was so crazy to see this little old faithful right down the road from us.  We were just heading out the door to go somewhere or I would have let the girls go and run in it.  But it was fun to see.  It happened again one day when we were driving home and it was even bigger and going all over the road so we drove through it a few times to get a nice car wash.   No one was home so Ryan being the super sweet guy he is, went down and turned the water off for him so it wouldn't waist all the water.
