Vegas

I was able to drive down to St. George with Chris and go on a day trip to Vegas with Sara. We went shopping and then do a yummy lunch. We meet up with Amanda, she is so much fun!
While we were at the mall we went to the MAC counter and had a makeover and this pictures was taken after..... (I didn't get a before picture...)
We went to a fun concert that had Sara's favorite singer "Keith Anderson", and had three other great singers ( I can't remember their names...) They were recording the concert and had a ton of cameras all over but they wouldn't tell us which channel was going to air the show. So if anyone sees us on TV you will have to let me know.

There were a few people at the concert that were so weird. Chris and I had a good time watching them and laughing......

little photographer

Alexis took these pictures with the camera she got for Christmas and was so cute while she was telling the girls how to sit, smile, and say cheese. These pictures are funny because they remind me of engagement pictures or something.

Love this one.

My Baby is 3

This last month Brytlee turned three years old. I was in St. George at the time of her birthday so we still have not had a chance to celebrate it and throw her a party with the cake and the candles. I didn't even tell her that it was her birthday the day of her birthday because she was being a little stinker, and I was the only adult around so I didn't really know what I would do for her.
Ryan is out of town until Thursday so we are planning on doing a party when he gets back, and I hope by then she will start acting a little better so I will start to want to go to all the work of putting a party together..... I love Brytlee so much, but she really knows how to push everyone's buttons, and for the past couple weeks she is pushing all of them, and doing them with a smile on her face.......

Basketball star

Alexis had a great time playing basketball this year! She was on such a great team with girls that we both loved! The first day I took her to practice I was a little nervous thinking..."she is the smallest girl on the team, and the youngest, the girls are going to be rude, she won't get the ball" But I was very wrong. The girls were all so sweet, and could not have been nicer to Alexis!

When I would pick up Alexis from Practice a girl on her team would always come up to me and tell me how good Alexis was and how she made a bunch of baskets. Alexis told me that her favorite sport wasn't soccer anymore, and now it was basketball.
Grandma and Grandpa Harris made it to most of her games and were such great support!
Grandma and Grandpa Merrill drove down for the last game so they could watch her play. I was so happy that they made it down to see her and hang out with us. Brytlee is so in love with my dad and was by his side for most of the time that they were here.

They won most of their games and best of all they had a lot of fun together as a team! I am so glad that we put her in this year!

Swimming

Our gym that we go to has been under construction for the last year building a swimming pool with a great sauna, racquetball court, and more exercise rooms. Now that the pool is done we have been swimming almost ever day..... The girls are loving it!

Elizabeth is a little fish. She loves the water and can swim so well. She has started going to the pre-school classes that they have started at the gym and it has been really fun for her. They do dance classes, swim classes, gymnastics, and teach the kids about nutrition.

Ryan and I really enjoy the sauna and the hot tub. After working on the house on a really cold day it sounds so nice to go and get warmed up....

Happy Valentines day

I love Valentines day. Not because it is a day that you are suppose to get a gift.... or flowers.....(which Ryan now knows not to do. I have had to tell him not to get me flowers because I feel that they are a waste of money and they just die so really what is the point in letting something beautiful sit on your table for one week and then watch it wilt away? I would much rather have a flower I can plant outside and watch it grow and bloom all summer long. Or money in my pocket isn't bad!) Anyway, I love this day because I know I get this day to spend with the man that I love! I know that this day is a day that we are going to get some time for just the two of us! I don't care what we do just as long as we are together. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband! It is so crazy that we have been together for almost ten years, it feels like just the other day we were driving to the Idaho Falls temple to be Married. I love the time that we have spent getting to know eachother better and better.... staying up late talking and laughing, and even when we have our fights.... after we work through them- they actually bring us closer together and make our relationship stronger.
It is so crazy when we got married how I thought I knew everything about Ryan and I was so ready to be with him forever, I never had a second thought, or doubted anything. I always knew that he is who I wanted to be with from the moment I meet him.... I just knew! And over the years we have been married I have gotten to know him better and better, and every time I find out something new about Ryan I realize how alike we are, and how when I didn't think it could even be possible, but I grow to love him even more!
I know that there is no such thing as the perfect man, but Ryan is my PERFECT man! I love you so much honey, and I hope that you have a very happy Valentines day! Thank you so much for all you do for me and the girls and all the hard work you are doing for my dream house. You are amazing!!!!! You are my best friend, and I love you with all my heart!

Jackson's Birthday Party

We went to the fun park for Jackson's birthday party and we all had a great time. The girls played on the big slides, and played the games, a great game of laser tag, and rollerblading. Alexis had it down pretty good and Elizabeth had to work on it. But by the end Elizabeth was doing really well.

All the Adults played tag with our blades on and it was really fun. There was a few crashes that looked really hard but no one was hurt.....

Ryan was having a hard time keeping his eye's open for the pictures this night for some reason.
The girls had their own camera at the party so they took most of the pictures themselves. They have had fun with their camera and love to take pictures.

When we left the party I could have sworn that we had the camera but then later we couldn't find it. I had stopped by one time to see if the fun park had found it, but they said no. I was sad that they girls had lost their camera. So I stopped in one more time and talked to the right person and he knew just where it was. So now they are back to taking pictures!

family picture

Every year we have tried to get our pictures taken in July around the same time as our Anniversary, but with building a house and all that we have had going on we have not been able to have a picture taken.... so after church I had our family stay outside and set up the tripod and take a quick picture. So this is our picture for 2010!

What do deer eat?

A while ago we were driving somewhere and Ryan threw a apple core our the window. Elizabeth told us that we were not suppose to do that because that was littering. So we told her that it is ok to throw out things that animals can eat or things that are biodegradable.
So Alexis was doing a animal report for school and she chose reindeer for her animal. One of the questions was what do deer eat..... And Elizabeth got excited and said, "Apple cores and banana peels"!

911

So Elizabeth is doing so well at learning her numbers and wants to be able to use the phone like the rest of us, but the bad part about that is the only number she knows right now is 911.....
So while we were at the Cabin a month ago, she was playing on the phone and called 911 and then hung up. They called right back and Sara answered and they had asked her if there was any problems and so she found out that she was playing on the phone. Sara told her that the police had called and said that they were coming to the house, and Elizabeth was scared to death. I didn't know what was going on but I saw Elizabeth running around like crazy trying to hide, and when I asked her what was wrong she came crying saying the police were coming to get her.
I thought after that she would never ever dare to call 911 again....... but I was wrong.....
Ryan and I were out working on the house while Elizabeth was watching a movie and Brytlee was taking a nap and Elizabeth called 911 again. As soon as they answered she hung up the phone, and they called back right away. So when she answered the phone they said, "is your mom or dad home"? And she said, "NO", so they sent a officer over right away, and luckily I had gone into the house to check on the girls so I could answer the door and see a police officer..... Soooooo he was really nice, and just was checking to make sure we were ok, but I asked him to have a little talk with Elizabeth to make sure she wouldn't do it again. So I go to her room and asked her to come into the front room..... She says, "I didn't do it"!, I asked, "do what"? "Call 911".....
Anyway, I made her tell him she was sorry, and I am praying this doesn't happen ever again.
