Eliabeths Birthday

Elizabeth is turning 8 years old tomorrow and I can not believe it.  It feels like it was not so long ago that she was my sweet little baby girl just coming home from the hospital.  I have never really wrote her birth story down and it was a nice one that I wish they all could be like so I am going to write a little about it.
I was started with Alexis and so we planned on being started with Elizabeth also.  Annette has never been able to go into labor on her own, along with some other family members so I figured I would be the same.  I was scheduled to be started at 5:00 a.m. I had been feeling a little pain and feeling and hearing some popping sounds.  I didn't really think anything about it..  When I got in the room I put on my robe and felt like I needed to go to the bathroom and but then I couldn't go... so I felt like I needed to push.  As soon as I laid on the bed I felt a pop and heard it.  I asked Ryan if he heard it also and he said no.  I told the nurse that I thought my water broke.  She check me and I was only a four and said it had so she would call the doctor and let him know.  Within seconds I was in SOOOO much pain I couldn't stand it and the nurse came back to check me again and told me to not even move.  I had progressed in just a few minutes and the baby was ready to come out.  The doctor made it in the room, and with just three easy pushes she was born.  It was a really weird feeling being able to feel her move from the top of my stomach to outside my body. I did FEEL everything with Elizabeth and it was not by choice.  I do have to say that if they were all that fast and easy it really wouldn't be that bad.... but I still am all for epidurals.  The anesthesiologist still gave me a quick spinal block so I wouldn't feel a lot of the after pain and that was also GREAT.
While I was pregnant with Elizabeth I was so worried about loving her.  I thought that there was going to be no way I could ever love any child as much as I loved my first child Alexis.  I had two miscarriages before I had Elizabeth so I didn't let myself fall in love or have to many feeling while I was pregnant because I always feared the worst.  But as soon as that little baby was placed on my chest a HUGE rush of emotions came over me and I knew that I was soooooo in love with this girl and I had a lot more room in my heart to love her.  After we got home from the hospital I wanted to watch the video we had taken from the hospital.  But when I went to rewind it the tape for some reason was eaten up by the player.  I cried harder than I think I have ever cried before.  When Ryan asked me what was wrong I couldn't even talk.  He thought I had lost one of my parents with how hard I was crying.  But it just made me feel so bad that I could never see that special moment when this little angel came into this world, and cried her first cry.  I also had so many worries about being just as good as a mom for her that I was for Alexis and I really wanted to have everything be fair for the both of them.
Elizabeth is such a blessing in our lives and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful girl as my daughter.  She is so smart and kind, funny, loving, sensitive, sweet, softhearted, and beautiful in every single way.  I love you Elizabeth and I hope that you have such a wonderful birthday and enjoy turning 8 years old.  Thank you for always being such a good little girl.  Happy Birthday!!!

Panels! Those will go up tomorrow

Getting there, plan is to throw trusses up tomorrow afternoon

All walls and half of trussed

It looks like they are flying and I hope they keep it up!  The sooner they get done the sooner I get so my love.  Life is soooooo not the same without a husband and a dad for our girls.  I miss Ryan so much and am not the same without him.  The girls can not wait to see their dad again also!!!

Mother of the year goes to

Not me..... so Alexis told me that she had a sore neck on Sunday and that she felt like she had marbles in it and I didn't pay much attention to her and told her she must have slept on it wrong and kinked it or something.  Then her teachers at church said that she told them she couldn't talk or sing cause her neck hurt and I just laughed and called her a faker because that morning she was singing in the shower at the top of her lungs and she had been talking all through sacrament meeting just fine.....  Then on Wed. she was laying back and had her head up and I saw this golf ball size bump under her jaw..... I freaked out a little and couldn't believe her glands/ tonsils were that huge.  I got her in the next day and they put her on some meds. but today they are even worse and she is talking funny and they are just so big.... I have no clue what to do

My little climber

So for the last two mornings Adison has decided to get out of bed all by herself!  I heard her Wed. morning walking around the house talking and getting into things and I didn't think anything about it because Brytlee usually gets her out of bed and they start to play together.  But then I heard the garage door open and so I yelled.  "where are you going Brytlee" and no one answered.  So I jumped up and ran out to see what THEY were doing and found out it was only Adison.  I didn't really believe she got out of bed by herself so I went up to ask Brytlee why she got her out and ditched her and she was still in bed asleep.
So this morning I was sitting on the couch and I heard her make a little noise and then a few minutes later her door opened and out she came as happy as could be.
She also loves to climb on the bathroom counter in my room, onto the kitchen counters and our dinning table.

North Dakota

So Ryan is working hard in North Dakota for the next two months and while he is away I thought I would post some of the progress that he has made and steal the pictures he has posted on facebook and keep records of it.  I am missing him like crazy and he has already been gone for about thirty days.  I am praying that the next thirty will fly by and everything on his end will go smoothly and fast.
On his way tot North Dakota they had a very interesting trip.  I felt so bad for him that it took so long and they had so many problems.  They left Preston a lot later than they had hoped because it took a lot longer getting the truck all loaded and packing a few last minute items.  When they got on the road the Person going with them (Napps) were driving a motor home and they blew a tire in Pocatello.  So they all jumped in together and drove to almost every single tire store trying to find a tire that would fit on the vehicle.  They finally found one that only had two tires left so they bought them both and were on their way.  When they hit Montana the Napp Vehicle blew another tire..... so they got it fixed (thank goodness they bought two tires) and started on the way again when they heard a huge pop sound and then smoke from their own truck.  They thought they had blown a tire also and it was very late.  They checked everything out and it was only a gasket that was not put on tight and was a very easy fix.  They thought they would arrive at the sight at 10 or 11:00 p.m. but had to drive all night and arrived around 9:00 a.m. and then had so much work to do they didn't get to go to sleep until that night at 10:00 p.m.  Not the best 48 hrs. I am sure.
So the order of the pictures are not right and I tried my best to just copy and past from his own words what was going on.

First day of school!

Elizabeth's first day of the Second Grade!!!
 Brytlee's first day of Kindergarten
Brytlee in front of her teachers roon
Alexin's first day of the 5th Grade...... man that sounds sooooo wrong in so many ways.
Brytlee was so ready for school to start and could not wait.  (I did tear up a little when I dropped her off, but not I am alright)  All my kids were so excited to meet their teachers and see their friends again.  Brytlee said that she is making lots of new friends and is having so much fun.  I have her in afternoon kindergarten so I just drive her to school and then she gets to ride the bus home with her sisters.  I would much rather have my girls at home with me and I do like them to be around but I have to say that I have been able to get A LOT done while they are all at school and Adison is taking her nap.  It is weird to have a quiet house and not have to tell everyone to keep it down so they don't wake up the baby..... but If they were not loving school and happy to be there I know I would not be as glad to have them there.  It makes it a lot easier when they love school!

Moo Moo Buckaroo

Adison Loves to follow her sisters around and hang out with them.  She was in Alexis's room with her and found the clothes and boots she wanted to wear all by herself.  I could not get her to take the shirt off... so she wore it all day and then for pj's at night.

I must say... I have so really cute cowgirls!!
I bought Adison this little playpen and stroller set and she loves them.  But she loves to get in it or carry it around.

This is another way she likes to play with it!

We have been loving our summer corn!  It is amazing to me that Brytlee can still eat it with her two front teeth missing.
 mmm mmm
 GOOD

I was trying to get some work done and Adison was NOT wanting to be in the house so I have to bring the slide in so she could feel like she was sort of outside..... The girls all really enjoyed the slide on the stairs.

Brigham City Open house

The Young women and young men went to the open house for the Brigham City temple.  I am lucky to be a leader so I was able to tag along and bring my girls.  I left little Adison at home with Grandma because we had to wake up at 5:00 a.m......

The temple was beautiful and the spirit was so strong.  I loved being able to have my girls with me and tell them things they wanted to know about the temple.  They had some questions that we couldn't find out the answer to so if anyone knows why all the temples don't have the angel Moroni on it let us know.
They were good and reverent all through the temple and when I asked them what they liked best they said they loved it all.  Brytlee asked me if we could go again the next day.  It was such a great experience and I am so glad I was able to go.  I just can not imagine my life without the gospel in it and I am always the happiest when I am trying to do what is right and drawing closer to god and the spirit.  I hope to be a good example to my girls and I want them to know that I know this Church is true with all my heart, and that it is the only way that we can return to be with our Father in Heaven and the only way we can make it through this like with the best experience possible. And because we are so blessed to have temples on the earth I get to be with my family FOREVER.  I would not want it any other way!!!
