Alexis and Rett

Alexis had another cheer performance she did on December 18th. Rett (Alexis's cousin) came with Grandma and Grandpa Harris to watch her do her cheer and dance. She did very well and was very confident. She was very happy to have her family their to watch her.

Vegas trip

I went on a wonderful trip to Vegas with my Sister in law Sara, Annette, and Sara's Cousin Alecia. We had such a great time and did so much! We were able to stay at the Venetian hotel and the room was so incredible! We had breakfast in bed one of the mornings, which was a big change from how my mornings usually go, and then we were able to take our time getting ready, and just relax . We saw Keith Anderson in concert one of the nights, and it was the best concert! It was in a club in Vegas with maybe 50 people! It was like having him play just for us! At one point in the concert, we all went on stage with them and took them a gift! Then after the concert, we had back stage passes, so we were able to hang out and watch them, and get pictures and talk with everyone. It was really neat.
We also went to another show called Kah I don't remember how it is spelt, so I hope you know which one. It was really incredible. I loved it!
We spent one morning in the spa in the Venetian hotel that is one of the worlds top spa's, and it was just like heaven. We had two day's that we went shopping, and that was so much fun! The whole trip was just so great, and now I am home, and I really have to get back to work. Oh yea, and we did see a show called thunder down under......

Once there was a snowman

The first day of snow! Alexis got home from school, and was dead set on building a snowman! So we all went and rounded up some dirty snow balls! The snow looks a little yellow, but it is very fresh.

Go Alexis

Alexis did her performance for the half time at the game tonight, and she did so well. Each time she does it she is more and more confident and shakes her stuff just a little more each time. She did great and I was really proud of her. It is so fun to watch her do things like this. It really makes her look so big! The girls in the picture with her are two of her best friends Ashlyn and Sydnee Marlow.

Wreath

So this year I didn't see any cute wreaths that I felt like spending 30 bucks on so I made one myself! I thought it turned out pretty good for my first time! Yea me!!!

Santa is in town!

We had our ward party tonight and we saw Santa! It was great, Elizabeth didn't leave his side the whole night. She watched all the kids sit on his lap, and after they would tell him what they wanted, Elizabeth would say, "I want that too" I love that girl, she is so funny! Brytlee didn't know what to think of him but she did get a good pull on his beard. Then tried to fly away as you can see in the picture.
I have all of our Christmas decorations up and the lights are on the house, and the presents are wrapped, and I think I am done shopping for the most part, so we are very ready for Christmas!!!

Bounce back

Our little Brytlee has been sick for a while now, and so I took her into the hospital and found out she had pneumonia. It was so sad to watch my baby getting needles put into her for the blood test and for the IV and they could not find a vain in her so the had to do it over eight times. They had me helping them keep her still when all I really wanted to do was grab her and run out. She is doing so much better and every day that she was on the medicine I could see a difference and now I feel like I finally have my baby back. She is starting to talk, and stands up all the time now. She loves to follow the girls where ever they go, and plays where ever they are. She is such a sweetheart, and I love her like crazy.

Vacation

We just got back from our seven day Cruise. It was so fun and we loved every minute of it!! Our ship that we went on was the largest their is, and had a ton of fun things to play on. We did the rock wall, and the surfing machine, and played volleyball, dodge ball, basketball, miniature golf, swam, ice skated, did karaoke and ate tons of yummy food. The night we had lobster, I asked for three plates and then wanted more, but was afraid to ask... We went to Hatti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. I am going to have more pictures put on latter, but this is all I could do today. I have so much to unpack, and clean up now that I am getting back to my real life.

Tag

I have been tagged by my friend Aubri and I have to come up with seven things about myself that are interesting.... I am going to try, but who knows....

1. I love to be creative and make things such as crafts, scrapbooks, things for my girls, or things for my house. I love decorating my girls rooms and have made a lot of the decor for them, and have had so much fun putting it together.

2. I love being a mom! I don't like the house work that comes with the stay at home thing, but I love all the time I get to spend with my girls. I wish I didn't have to clean or cook because then I could play with them a lot more.

3. I love to play games such as board games, and things that are challenging, I also really enjoy playing sports. Anything that is competitive.

4. I love to travel and see new things. My favorite kind of trip is on a cruise with all my family, or taking my girls to Disney world or to the Zoo or something fun for them to do. I love to see my girls get excited about things and the huge smiles they get when they are there. I also get to run around and act crazy with them when we are on vacation and it makes me feel like a kid again....

5. I don't like chocolate, most people think that is a weird thing, but I have other things that I love a little to much such as bread, and candy that is gummy or chewy. I also love cereal, rice crispy treats, and chips and salsa....

6. I love the summer time, I am not fond of being cold so when it is sooooooooo hot outside, I just love it. I could live in Florida or Hawaii without a problem. I get a little sad when the weather gets colder and it snows because we don't get to go outside as much, but Christmas and Thanksgiving make up for it.

7. I like to keep myself busy, I am always doing little projects and really enjoy doing them. This summer I fixed up two old, old bikes, remodeled two T.V. entertainment centers, many little wood crafts for just this and that, (a lot of them were for the girls, they love to paint) I helped make a play house, and did all the siding myself, then I was able to decorate it also. I helped a friend fix up some twin headboards for her girls rooms, I fixed up a wicker chair, helped put together a porch swing, (still isn't finished but I hope will be soon) I had other things that we did, but this is some of the things I really enjoyed. I also had a great garden this year and the girls and I really liked doing that. You get some much more done when you have a lot to do!

Happy Halloween

We went to our wards trunk or teat on Halloween this year and we scored so much candy! I think I am more excited than my girls are. I just love junk food!!! Alexis had a Halloween party at her school that I forgot my camera and I am so sad, but we both dressed up as princesses for her party, and I was in charge of the games so we did musical chairs, and dance and freeze to the music, and then I also had a pot of spaghetti and eye balls that we blind folded them and had them tell us what they thought it was. Most of them said brains, or worms. Later when we went to the trunk or treat Ryan and Elizabeth were both clowns, and Alexis and Brytlee were bunny's and I was a wanna be princess. A lot of people asked if I was trying to be a prom queen and I just said "close enough"! But of course my girls would tell them, no! She is a princess!!! They really loved that I dressed up as one, and kept telling me I looked beautiful. It was really cute.
