Brytlee has said some really fun things the past couple of weeks so I need to get them written down before I forget. Most of the funny things have been while she is praying. She thinks of so many things and is very thoughtful in her prayers, and also thinks of things that are just funny.... the other night she was praying for our garden to grow and for our grass to grow and the trees to get good food and for the weeds to go away and for there to be no more weeds. (what 5 year old thinks about this????)
Elizabeth was telling me a story the other day and she said, "this boy was talking and it was like he was speaking with a English accident."
Brytlee was on the ground and a little boy stepped on her finger and it tore the skin away from her fingernail and she came up to me and said, "mom look at my finger, It hurts so bad it is awesome!" she was acting very tough about it and never even cried.
The other night the girls and I went on a little bike ride around the block and Brytlee has gotten to be a little dare devil on her bike and has been going on bumps and on the grass and in little puddles. She was going as fast as she could and was in front of all of us and then just darted into a field. I was so scared that she was going to crash end over end with how fast she was going but she got back to the road and had a huge smile on her face.
Alexis and Elizabeth have been in habit of eating peaches every night before they go to bed and Brytlee has never really tried them or wanted to but one night she was telling us how much she loved peaches and the girls were saying, "no you don't.... you never even eat them." she she told me to get her some. It was the funniest thing I have watched seeing her eat her peaches and tell us how good they were when with each bite she almost threw up..... she would take a bite, chew it a couple of times and then when she would try to swallow she would cough and gag. Then when she got it down she would say, "mmm that was good." then we all started to laugh really hard and she was mad at us and said," you guys it's not funny, I almost died."
One day Brytlee and I were driving and we were kinda close to the hospital and there was a couple of cop cars and a bunch of people on the side walk so we drove slow to see what was going on. It looked like someone tried to escape from the nursing home and was going to fast in the wheelchair and tipped over on the corner. The police were trying to get the man back into the wheelchair and Brytlee was so worried about him. At first she thought he was died, and then she was worried he was hurt, and then she was worried he needed some flowers. It has been four days and she is still asking questions and really wants to go and take him flowers and give him a hug.
