Easter Dresses

We had the girls pictures taken in the Easter dresses, (that didn't match or go together at all... ) I don't think they turned out that great, and they had a hard time getting them all to look at the camera.

Old Slides

I have been working on transferring some old slides onto the computer for Ryan's parents, and I just loved this picture! Ryan is the baby on his dads chest! It looks a lot like our girls, and Denton looks a lot like Ryan does now.... or the other way around??? This is the first house they lived in, and first baby! Judy looks so beautiful! But she has not changed much.

Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter Sunday today! We went over to Ryan's parents home and had a great dinner, and a Easter egg hunt, and they were spoiled rotten! We were able to get the kids to hold still for a few seconds while we toke a picture of all the Grandchildren!

Jackson was the lucky one who found a MAGIC egg! It was empty, and it was for a reason. ( It was to represent the empty tomb)
Uncle Chase gave all the kids the lesson on the reason we have Easter after the hunt was over! What a good Uncle!

The hunt

Today was the Easter egg hunt in the park! Elizabeth was so nervous, but she did get a few things. I don't know why these things are so scary for my kids, but they always seem to freeze up, and it makes me want to run out and start helping them get all the good stuff....Brytlee was so excited I couldn't get her to stay behind the yellow line.
She walked out and found this egg, and was done!

We walked over to the park and the kids played for a while! We all are so happy to be outside! Every time Brytlee sees the door open at our house, she is running for it! And if it gets shut before she gets to it... she is sooo mad!

My hottie HubbyHow long have you been married? We have been married 7 years, and will be 8 this July.

How old is he? He is five years older than me... 31
Who eats more sweets? It depends on the day, but I think we might be about the same.
Who said I love you first. He did! It was over the phone, and I was in Logan going to school, and he was at a football game in Phoenix AZ. He said it in front of friends and everything. Gave me butterfly's all over.
Who is taller? He is 6'1 and I am 5'9
Who can sing better? He can for sure! When we were first dating he would play the guitar a lot, and sing along, and it so great! I could have listened to him for hours!
Who is smarter... that is not even a question... He is
Who does the laundry? I do
Who does the dishes? I do a lot of them, and he helps
Who pays the bills? He does.
His hobby's? He loves to fly and build model airplanes, and he loves to play and watch football. He loves to play PSP football games.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does
Who mows the lawn? I do! I love to mow the lawn, and I like the way I do it, so I don't like it if he tries to help...
His best friend? His dad, and his brother, and Dallas Ward
Who cooks? I hear he is a great cook... but I do the cooking (He does make apple pie, and everyone loves it, they say he is the best.. I just don't like apple pie. He also makes cinnamon rolls a lot, and bread and he cooks when we are outside, like grill or dutch oven)
Who drives? He doesn't like to drive and I do, so I drive a lot, but he does when it is slick, or snowing.
Who kissed who? I say he kissed me, and he said I kissed him? I really don't know. We were up until 2:00 talking and I wanted him too kiss me the whole time. We had a moment when it just got quiet and he came really close to my face, and stopped, and so I came in the rest of the way.
First date? I don't really know because we did a lot of just hanging out. It was either going to his dinner, and then his brothers football game, or going to a dance at Ricks college.
Who proposed? He did. and I would have to dig out my journal to remember all the details, but it was perfect.
Who has more siblings? We have the same. I have three brothers and one sister, and he has three sisters, and one brother
My favorite thing about him. He is a great dad! I love to watch him play with our girls, read to them, and cuddle them when they are hurt. I love talking to him in bed late at night when I have the giggles! I love going on dates with him, and I love all the funny songs he sings that he makes up as he goes. I love that he isn't shy, and will try anything. There is so many things that I love about Ryan, and the list could go on, but I don't want anyone else to fall in love with him so I will stop.... He is a such a great guy!

Elizabeth

Elizabeth wants to be just like her big sister and loves to try on her cheer uniform. She has her dance memorized from watching Alexis do it.
Crazy hair! She took a bath and Ryan didn't want her to get her hair wet, so he put it up for her. She came in to me, and told me she looked "alereus" and I HAD to take a picture.
This is Ryan's football uniform from college, and Elizabeth came out the other night all dressed up in it.

Elizabeth and my mom had a really funny conversation. My mom was cooking a turkey for Sunday dinner, and so she said to Elizabeth, "lets go put the turkey in the oven". Lizzy looked really confused, and said, "your going to put me in the oven"? My mom said "no", then Lizzy said, "is it Alexis"? My mom said "no" Lizzy said, "is it Brytlee"??? My mom just laughed and then Lizzy was still trying to figure out which turkey was going to get cooked. (Ryan and I call all our girls little turkey's and so she was so confused).
My mom finally took her to the kitchen and showed her the turkey so she could see what she was talking about, and she said, "that's a chicken".
It was funny!

Update on Chris

Chris is out of the hospital, and is doing really well. We went to see my family this weekend, and were able to see him. Cindy is taking great care of him, and I think he is on his way up, (without any bumps on the way I hope)!!!!

My brother Chris

My brother Chris is in the hospital for blood clots. He went in a week ago to have the screws and plates taken out of his legs from his previous accidents. His medicine caused him to have the blood clots and as far as I know they are just in his lungs and they are watching him close and have given him blood thinners. He will be in the hospital for a couple of days and will have to stay on the blood thinners for a year, and can not eat any lettuce or bananas for a year also, and I am not sure why. I feel like he has gone through way to much, and this really shouldn't be happening, so keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Baby's on the way

I am not pregnant, sorry to burst your bubble, but I have good news from the Merrill family. All three of my sister-in-laws are pregnant!
Greg and Jackie are having a boy in May, and this will be boy number 4.
Brad and Sara are having a baby in October (I think....I am not sure when) This will be number 3 for them (they have one boy and one girl)
Chris and Cindy are having a baby in September! this will be their first baby! Yea
So now my parents are going to go from having 12 grandchildren to 15 in a very short time. That is crazy how fast a family can grow.
