Look who's walking
I don't know why I put the camera sideway's to do the video of Brytlee, but it was so cute, I put it on anyway. By the time I got the camera out she was tired and could hardly walk anymore, but she was doing so good going back and forth to Ryan and I . I can't believe my baby is growing so fast. I loved this picture of Elizabeth. She is my dress up queen and wanted to take a picture. This is one out of many other poses. Brytlee has started to do a couple of signs to us, she will do eat and more, and will say mooow (which is more) she is saying a bunch of little words, and is such a sweet heart. We love our girls to so much.

It is almost Brytlee's birthday so we had some pictures done to see how big
she is getting. I have been really good with my other girls about getting their
pictures done, and figured I really needed to take her in.
She was a little tired, and very shy for some reason, she kept sucking her lip and
doing little things that were cute, but it was so hard to get her to do a smile. She
wanted to be serious.
I think these turned out alright, but I just wish that she would have
done her real smile for them.

sledding

This is some property that we bought a little over a year ago, and hope to someday build on it. We have some great sledding hills on it and have gone a couple of times now. We took our young men and young women today, and it was a lot of fun. Brytlee and I even went down the hill sledding, and went a little faster than I thought we would, but she loved it!
The pictures of Brytlee flying in the air I thought turned out funny. It looks like she is higher than she really is, so I hope that no one freaks out. She was caught every time, and her dad is very careful with them. He had a harder time throwing Lizzy in the air because she is so big now.
I took her into the doctor the other day and she is over a 100% of the charts in her height, and under 50 in her weight. (I thought she was chubby, but I guess I was wrong).

Dress up
My girls love to dress up! They saw I was cleaning the kitchen floor, and it quickly became the dance floor. Alexis did her own hair, and Elizabeth had hers done very funky, but as soon as she saw the camera, she pulled out all the clips.Alexis as you can tell in the video, is not shy at all, and loves to be the center of attention! Poor Elizabeth always gets her feelings hurt, and likes to pout until she gets her way.... (Don't you wish you all had three girls). They are so fun and cute, even whey they throw a fit, it is hard not to laugh.

Brytlee and her big sister

Brytlee finally has enough hair on top to pull it into a little pony tail... Today was the first day that I put it up in a little bow, and she looked so cute. My a baby's are all growing up way to fast!Alexis had a cheer performance today, and she did really good. She is getting better and better each time she does it, and showing more confidence when she goes in front of a crowd now.

The fun park

We went to the Fun Park this weekend for a
birthday party for Julie's little boy Jackson. The kids all had
such a great time going down the slides and running around inside the tubes and pads. I took Brytlee up and she crawled around but didn't know what to think about it. She wanted me to carry her most of the time. She loved going down the slides which was the first time ever for her.
In this picture she was picking her nose, which was another first time event for her. Ohhhhhh

This is my friend Heidi Ward who had had very long hair for the past 9 years and I cut it all of the other night. She looks so cute!

Happy New Year
One thing I want to do this year is to write down all the funny things that my girls say. I love it when they come up with off the wall comments and things that make us laugh so I am going to try to keep a list of them on my blog so I can share them with you.
One morning very early, Alexis and Elizabeth quietly got up out of bed, and it was before mom and dad were awake, they decided to do some laundry in the tub. They put in all the dress up clothes, and all the shoes, and all the skirts, and some of the shirts.
Mom had to get up early to take Brytlee in for her two week appointment, and so went to check to girls.
They had dumped out two bottles of baby soap in the water, and I was so so so mad... When I asked the girls what they were doing, Alexis just said so cute. "we are helping you do laundry mom".
I was so mad I just tried to clean up as fast as I could, and I was yelling at the girls. Then I ran to my appointment. As soon as the doctor asked me "how are you doing"? I burst into tears, and couldn't talk. And the more I tried to stop, the harder I cried. So by the end of the appointment. I had all sorts of prescriptions written out for myself.
(the reason I started crying is because of how bad I felt for getting mad at my girls, when they thought they were helping me out. I felt like such a bad mom).
Brytlee- She has started to make a hiss sound a lot now, and the other night when Ryan went in to check her while she was sleeping, she was on top of all of her blankets laying on her belly. So when he tried to pull them out to put over her, she got up on all fours and rocked back and forth really fast and started hissing! "sssssss sssssssss sssssssssss" then laid down and was still fast asleep.
Elizabeth-"Alexis keeps saying good night nurse to me, but I don't want to go to bed".
Alexis- (Conversation with a snake) "Mom, why does the snake keep trying to bit me"? Mom, "Because he is scared and doesn't know you". Alexis, " Hi, my name is Alexis. This is my sister Elizabeth, my other sister Brytlee, and that is my Mom. (the snake is hissing and striking at her, but safely in a box) I don't want you to go out side because it is cold, and you might get sick and catch a cold, and then you will become fake and hard and we will have to take you to your family and then they will hang you on the wall, because that is what family's do".
Alexis- (Christmas morning she got a ballerina dance bar) "Mom, Dad look at this, you can do anything with this". Dad said, "what is it for"? "I don't know"?
Elizabeth- I love when you ask Elizabeth a question, she will say, "because I do, or because I did" to just about every question.
Alexis- (while in church) "Dad, I need to go to the bathroom". Dad not paying attention... "dad I need to go to the bathroom". dad still not paying attention, and right when the song stops and it goes quiet, "Dad I Gotta Poop"!
Elizabeth- After she asks a question and the answer is no, she makes the cutest sound "uhhawwah"
Alexis- "Mom, I am so smart huh" Mom said, "of course you are, all my girls are smart". Alexis said, "But not Brytlee huh, she doesn't know how to do anything". Mom said "She is smart, she knows how to do things". Alexis, "Oh like break things"?
Alexis and Elizabeth both called their nipples "pickles"

This was a great gift that Annette found for Chris in Las Vegas. It is a chef hat and shirt! He has the candy shop in Rigby now, and is so busy making and selling Heidi's fudge. He is such a great cook. For Christmas dinner he and Cindy made us all a wonderful Shrimp dinner that was sooooooooo good! The presents and tree in the picture is our Christmas morning. I loved watching the girls open their presents. Kids make Christmas so much fun! Alexis was so funny. The only thing she wanted for Christmas was a iron that can put colors in your hair. So every present she opened, she would let out a big sigh and then chuck it. "this isn't my iron.. this isn't my iron..." and then when she did get it, she could have been done.
I was spoiled by Santa this year... He gave me a really nice camera that I wanted really bad, and I didn't even ask for it or know I was going to get it. I love being surprised!

My mom bought the girls the cute flower head bands for the girls which is perfect for my girls because they live in dress up clothes! the little girl on right with my girls it Brad and Sara's little girl Mia. She is going to be three this April, and is such a smart little girl. With the Merrill grandkids we have five girls and three of them are mine. We just found out that Greg and Jackie are going to have a fourth boy in May. So that will make eight grand-boys.
