house update

We got our front porch done, and it looks so good! We did a stamp and then also colored it. I will get a better picture of it, because in this picture you can't really see what color it is going to be... the powder color is still on the top and has not been finished.
This is the work that we got done on Halloween day! We had a great group working!! My Dad, Rob, Ryan, Chase, and Denton.

Halloween Night

This Halloween I was able to spend it with my sister and mom!!! It is the first time sense I have had my girls that we have been able to go Trick or Treating with anyone in my family!!! I was so excited that they came and I hope that maybe they will do it from now on.
We went to my wards trunk or treat, and I was dressed up as a cow girl, and I made my mom dress up as my cow. It was really funny. My sister took some great pictures that I need to get from her. ( I was on my moms back like I was riding her, and another like I was milking her.... )
Annette was dressed up as a bumble bee, and Conner was dressed up as the shaggy dog. I loved his costume, it was so cute!
Cache, was dressed up as a little frog (he looked so cute also) and Brytlee was dressed up like she was riding a chicken.
I made Conner get on all fours for a good shaggy dog picture.
I was so glad that Annette was here because she talked me into going door to door trick or treating. I didn't know that you could do that anymore.... I thought that they did the trunk or treat because people didn't want you to bug them at their houses. But she pointed out that the houses that leave the porch light on are the ones that are ready for the trick or treaters. So we had a good time going door to door the old fashion way.

Tried to get a group picture of all the kiddos but the sun was right in their eye's.
Rob and My dad worked very hard all day while we played and went and got candy, and they got so much done again! I will have pictures on my next post of all the great work they did.

School Pictures

Alexis got her school pictures back and they are cute like always. She is starting to look so big.... makes me so sad
Soccer is over and the girls got their pictures back. I have no clue where Elizabeth has put hers, so as soon as I find her pictures I will have to post them. Alexis loved playing soccer and did really well. I am not sure what the team score is or anything like that, but she really enjoyed playing this year

Halloween Party #2

We had a fun little family party with Ryan's family. Everyone dressed up and we played games, and ate yummy food, and the kids all had a great time. I was dressed up like a maid... Ryan was dressed up as.... something spooky, Elizabeth was Belle, Alexis was a airplane, and Brytlee was a person from whenever they wore the little poodle skirts. (we changed her into Snow White half way through the party because it was really hard the get her body suit of to take her to the bathroom)

Half way through the party we thought it would be funny to mix things up a little bit. So I made Ryan put on my costume, and I put on his. It was really funny.

Elizabeth had a party at school that she was able to dress up for and she wanted to be super girl. So this is her all ready to go to her party.

the girls always want to know if they can take the camera and take pictures? So one day I gave into Alexis and said that she could take a couple of pictures if she was careful.... and what do you know. She took some very cute pictures.




I love that she got such cute pictures of Brytlee playing in the leaves. And she got this great action shot of her jumping. I may have the have her use the camera more often.

Halloween Party #1

Ryan and I were invited to a Adult costume party this year. It was so much fun!!! We both dressed up like cheerleaders, (I found my uniform at the DI where I live. I had to by it because what are the odds that a Rigby (my home town) cheer outfit would end up at the DI here?)

Our good friend Shawn Marlow.... He looked so funny! When we walked in he went up to Ryan and said, "Does a guy like me have any chance with a girl like you?"

My BFF Stephanie was dressed up as a witch. The party was a lot of fun. We had great food, and fun games to play. I found out that Ryan really does not pay very close attention when it comes to detail.... like he has no clue what color my eyes are...... (we played the newly wed game and he didn't do so well)

Two Weeks ago....

I am a little behind and need to be better about getting things posted. Two weekends ago, my Parents, and my brother Greg came to help us on our house. They got all the floor on so that was so nice to have help on!
After we got it done, we put some water sealer on it, and then covered it with tarps because the whole next week was going to be snow, and rain almost everyday.

The kids all had a lot of fun together. We hung out at our house, and then was also over at the building house, or running around getting supplies. They all were great and my girls loved having the cousins around.
We have so many leaves at our house and I have been waiting for them to dry out a little before I got them all picked up..... so Mike and the other boys got as many as they could and put them on the tramp. They had a blast jumping in them, but they were so covered in little leaves and I had a hard time getting it out of the girls hair.
