Rodeo Weekend

Every year we get to go to the Carnival, and it is so much fun. We have had my family come every year that we have lived here, and this year everyone was to busy so they couldn't come. (But my Parents did come for one night, and they left Summer and Karsten for the weekend)

Alexis is into the thrill rides now, and just thought this little train ride was so BORING! After she got off she said, "that was such a baby ride".

Brytlee loved this ride but you can not see her on the other side of Alexis. Every time they would pass by she would try to wave but then grab onto the bar as fast as she could.

This is the girls #1 favorite ride. It is called "Gee Wizz" and I thought that it would be a ride that Brytlee could go on because it just goes round and round and isn't that fast.... I felt so bad while we were on the ride... every time we would go up she couldn't hold her head up and she would make a sound like someone barfing and then on the way down she would do a very high pitch yell. She liked it, but I had to hold on to her the whole time and help her keep her head up.

Brytlee loves to look at books. She has started to pretend like she is reading them.
I got the girls a chore chart to see if it would help them want to help out around the house more, and it worked great for the first week. They would hurry and do what they needed to do so they could put a sticker on each square, and then go to the next chore. But then we had the carnival and we didn't have time to do it... so we are going to start over this week.
Ryan brought home another big fish.
I can't believe he got Brytlee to hold it.... But she didn't really know what to think about it....

We need to get a swimming pool. This is how my girls have been staying cool this summer, and I have been looking around for a pool that is not to big for Brytlee, and not to small for the other girls... (and I don't want it to be huge and kill the grass)
This weekend was so crazy, I feel like it is going to take me a month to catch up on things I need to get done. I had a booth on the sidewalk sales on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday selling watch bands that I have been making, and also signing people up for Heritage Makers. Talk about being stressed out. My house was a mess, my kids were going crazy, and I had to find people to watch them, (thank you Summer and Karsten, you were so much help!!!) and then we had to go to all the parades, and the Carnival, and then go home so I could get busy making more watch bands. I ran out of all my watch faces on the first day, and almost all of the bands also so I had to work really hard to have things to sell on the last two days. It was not that much fun, but kinda worth it. I just wish I could have had more fun with my kids during the day.
Elizabeth said something really funny to me the other day... she walked up, and patted my belly and said, "Mom you look almost pregnant" I said, "I look chubby"? then she said, "No mom, I said ALMOST".
I need to get back to working out!
