It's what fun is
Wicked. So Ryan and I grabbed her and took her on Colossus kicking and screaming and telling me that she hatted me and I was the worst mom in the world. But after the ride was over she said.... "That wasn't so bad" after going on that a few more times she worked up the courage to go on wicked and she LOVED it.
I was really surprised my little Brytlee loved all these big rides and wasn't scared of any of them. A few of them were so fast it was hard for her to hold her head up so I would hold it for her. But after each ride she would give me a high five and say, "that was awesome". We stayed the entire day and didn't leave until they closed down the park. We got food on the way home and everyone was so tired they couldn't even eat it. It was such a great day and we had tons of fun. The girls all slept in till almost 11:00 this morning and I think I could have slept a little longer if Adison would have let me.... She wasn't as tired as the rest of us.

Swimming
I took the girls to a swimming pool that has a great slide today and they had sooooooo much fun. We have my niece Mya with us for a couple of days and they all play together so well. I really wish I would have taken my camera to get a few shots of them on the slide but I was really busy just making sure all five girls were safe. I was really nervous and thought I had lost my mind taking five kids to the pool by myself, but they were all great! Adison was the one that really surprised me. She LOVED the slide also and was really good the whole time. I was really tired of going up the stairs to the top of the slide about half way through so I put her down and she was happy as could be climbing them holding my hands. (so that made it a little easier the rest of the time) I bet Adison and I went down about twenty times or more and the girls were very close to 100 or more. They didn't do anything but the slide the whole time and they ran up the stairs as fast as they could each time for over three hours. I really hope they all sleep well tonight.... I know I will
Deep thoughts
So it has been over a year now and I still am struggling to get the baby weight off...... and I have been doing the gym thing about every day for the past year and have really cut back and been eating really healthy to try and make it work but not it is time for a new thing... the D word. I really hate to go one a diet and I don't know if it is just me but when I am told (even if it is me telling myself) that I can not have something.... that is all I want. My mind has been doing some crazy thinking about food.... even foods I really don't like I want to just pig out on. Then I get on pintrest to see what is new and I see all the pictures of these yummy deserts and snacks and food that isn't so great for you.... not HELPING. It has only been two weeks and I am doing pretty good at this but I REALLY want to cheat........ I go to bed at night thinking, "why am I doing this?" then when I wake up in the morning and see that I lost a pound I decide to stick to it another day. I am not doing this trying to get any comments about it, I just think it is so weird how our minds work. We want what we are told we can not have. Even if it is something we didn't want in the first place. For me right now.... it is just food that isn't good for me.....mmmmmmmmmm

| Adison was loving feeding herself. She had a spoon and got most of it in her mouth. |

| this is the face she gave me when I said "cheese" she is so funny and really LOVED the cotton candy |

| she dove right in again.... I love all the kids faces they couldn't believe it |

| Brytlee thought it was so cool she had to try |

| You can tell that Adison is saying "cheese" in this picture. Such a cute little girl |
Alexis was so excited that she was able to go and have a sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's house on her birthday. I know that they let her do whatever she wanted, they probable stayed up really late and had a great time!!!! It still doesn't really feel real to me that I have a ten year old. I swear I just blinked and she grew up. I love this little girl so much and I am so proud of her. She has done so well in school and it really hasn't been super easy for her, but she works really hard until she gets it. She is a great sister and such a great helper for me. I love watching her in everything she does.......she really enjoys sports and has done very well with her first year of Violin. I know that this girl really can do anything she wants to when she puts her all into it. I feel so blessed to be the mom of this wonderful young pre tween!!!! I love you Alexis

| Alexis is now a 10 year old. I am really starting to fell like I am getting old.... Alexis really wanted to have a friend party this year and I still don't know how she talked me into do one...... I think it is because she is so cute. (And because she helped clean the whole house and has been such a good little helper for me) |

| The cake we made for her friend party..... I made the pink icing a little thin so it started to run |
![]() |
| All her friends couldn't believe she just put her mouth on the cake and took a bite.... but she said..."it is tradition" |

| the best part about her making waffles is they are not a mix or a easy thing to do. She made them from scratch and made them perfect!!!! |
![]() |
| Alexis and the girls did all the cleaning and decorating for the party and they did such a great job. It was so cute to see them so excited and working together. |

| I think they did a wonderful job and I may even think about doing it again! |
time to catch up
It is so crazy how fast time fly's. I feel like this school year and just they year in general has just gone by in a blink of an eye. It still feels unreal to me that my baby is already a one year old. She is so much fun and is just doing everything and learning to talk so well. She has become a little tornado but it is always the exact same things that she gets into... She really likes to get into this drawer of the girls hair accessories.... (and when I say get into.... you can see she really does get in it)

| Alexis also had her crazy hair day at school and she also wanted to have her hair the same as Brytlee. I thought it was so cute when she got home from school that she went rollerblading with her crazy hair down the street..... |

| Adison Loves to be pushed around in the little baby doll stroller and she is very lucky to have three sisters that are willing to do it. |
![]() |
| She looks like a little chunk in these pictures..... it could be because the stroller is for dolls..... |
![]() |
| When I hold the camera up Adison has started to say "Cheese" it is so funny how fast they catch on |
![]() |
| she is getting really mad at the shoe because she can not get it to fit right. And as you can see she pulled out all the table cloth things... that is another place she likes to get into. |
![]() |
| Adison loves to play outside. She is getting big enough to climb into the little play house all by herself and will go down the slide as long as someone is going to catch her or is holding her hand. |
![]() |
| She loves to play peekaboo and can say it very well and then she will also say, "there she is" or "uh oh... where she go" |
Some of this and that
I have a lot of catching up to do. The last week of school Elizabeth had her crazy hair day and pajama party on the same day. I had heard about this party for months and she couldn't wait. She wanted her hair just like Brytlee's and I think she looks very cute even with Troll hair.
