Poor little Kate

Julie's little girl Kate was hit in the eye the other night by the end of a jump rope. It happened when we were playing our Volleyball game and all the kids were up the stairs, and behind the bleachers where we could not see them and I guess one of the cousins had the jump rope and was swinging it above his head and Kate walked right into it.....

Poor girl couldn't even open her eye.... but she is still so happy!
Just a funny face!
Elizabeth wanted to take a picture, and then when I got out of the car she took about a hundred more of every square inch of the car.

raise the roof

The roof is being put on, and being sheeted!!! I am so happy with how fast all the truss's were put up. Today they worked on putting all the sheeting on the far side, and I think some time next week we will get the rest above the garage put up....

Volleyball

We just played our last game in the tournament last night for our Volleyball league, and we took 1st place!!!!
It has been so much fun playing Volleyball every Thursday night. I have also been played co-ed volleyball with Ryan for our Ward, and that was a lot of fun also.
The league I played on had such great players, and everyone was so good, and it made the game very easy. My two sister-in-laws were on my team this year and I loved that. It was so fun to play with family.
I can't wait till Winter Volleyball starts!!!!

Soccer Picture

I was packing some things up and I found Elizabeth's pictures!!! I was so glad I found them and was wondering what in the world had happened to them. She really loves to have her own things and put them in her special places, and when I asked her where she had put her picture, she could not remember.
Soccer was very interesting this year with building a house, and two girls playing back to back games. I forgot about most of the practices, and some of the games. (Elizabeth didn't care at all) She was not very into it this year. She would lay on the ground, and pick flowers, or just be doing her own thing for most of the game. But it was fun to watch her play and I think when she is a year older, she will be a little more interested in playing.

Dr. Elizabeth DDS

Elizabeth had to go and have her teeth cleaned at the dentist a couple of weeks ago and ever sense then she has been pretending to be a dentist for Brytlee. It is so cute, she will clean her teeth, and floss them, and then gives her a prize when it is all done.
Brytlee is a great little patient. She lets Lizzy do whatever she needs to do, and is so excited to have her big sister play with her.

Working in the cold

Ryan and all the great helpers that we have had have been working very hard to get all the walls up before the snow comes. They almost have all the upstairs walls up, and then they will get the garage walls up next.
This is a picture from upstairs
We are suppose to have the trusses coming on Wed. So we have to get all the walls up by then. I am glad that Ryan decided to have the people making the trusses put them up, and also sheet and roof the house. I think that should speed things along and make it so we can work in the house without freezing......

updates

The girls are helping me get everything cleaned up. They cleaned all the tops of the cabinets and were so cute doing it!
We got a lot done on the house this week. The second level floor is up

picture taken from the main level
The view from the girls rooms.... but they will have walls up so I guess they won't have this good of a view.

Ryan has worked so hard and is doing such a great job. I go over as much as I can but it is hard with three little girls that like to get into everything, and you have to keep a close eye on. And as soon as the sun starts going it gets really cold and they all freeze.... so I am not a lot of help... But I was helping this week and was trying to prop a board up by putting all my weight on a 2x4 and the board tuned on it's side and then broke and I fell down also and felt very dumb, and I think I broke a toe..... I felt so stupid!

Pumpkin

Grandma and Grandpa Merrill came and brought the girls this huge pumpkin to carve. This was the first time that we have ever carved a pumpkin. The last few years we have just let the girls paint them. Alexis loved it and the other girls thought it was so sick to touch the GUTS!
Brytlee tried to touch it but them jumped out of the way when she felt the inside. Elizabeth wouldn't even touch it.

Alexis carved the whole thing with a butter knife, and did the whole thing all by herself!!!!

house update

We got our front porch done, and it looks so good! We did a stamp and then also colored it. I will get a better picture of it, because in this picture you can't really see what color it is going to be... the powder color is still on the top and has not been finished.
This is the work that we got done on Halloween day! We had a great group working!! My Dad, Rob, Ryan, Chase, and Denton.

Our stairway going up to the up stairs, but right now just a drop off .
The work that we have gotten done this week! The front porch, and the walls are up.
We have had Ryan's uncles over the past two days and they have helped out a ton!
Going into the front door, and the office is framed...

Looking into the laundry room....
Things are going fast right now and we are thinking we will get the floor for the up stairs up today or Saturday.... We are really praying for some good weather!!!!

Halloween Night

This Halloween I was able to spend it with my sister and mom!!! It is the first time sense I have had my girls that we have been able to go Trick or Treating with anyone in my family!!! I was so excited that they came and I hope that maybe they will do it from now on.
We went to my wards trunk or treat, and I was dressed up as a cow girl, and I made my mom dress up as my cow. It was really funny. My sister took some great pictures that I need to get from her. ( I was on my moms back like I was riding her, and another like I was milking her.... )
Annette was dressed up as a bumble bee, and Conner was dressed up as the shaggy dog. I loved his costume, it was so cute!
Cache, was dressed up as a little frog (he looked so cute also) and Brytlee was dressed up like she was riding a chicken.
I made Conner get on all fours for a good shaggy dog picture.
I was so glad that Annette was here because she talked me into going door to door trick or treating. I didn't know that you could do that anymore.... I thought that they did the trunk or treat because people didn't want you to bug them at their houses. But she pointed out that the houses that leave the porch light on are the ones that are ready for the trick or treaters. So we had a good time going door to door the old fashion way.
The girls get a picture with their friends every year. They all look so great!
Alexis and her BFF Ashlynn

Tried to get a group picture of all the kiddos but the sun was right in their eye's.
Rob and My dad worked very hard all day while we played and went and got candy, and they got so much done again! I will have pictures on my next post of all the great work they did.
