Bursting with Personality

Adison has so much personality!  At night she see's me set out outfits for school for the girls and so now she wants them for her.  I will set something out and she will tell me it is "Ugly"  then she will set out something like what she is wearing in this picture and it has to be perfect and have the shoes just perfect.  (and she has to have a swim suit with whatever she is wearing.

This is the outfit she went and put on so she could go outside and play.  But I had to get a picture first and then she wanted to take another and another and another!

I swear She knows how to use my phone better than I do.  She is always listening to music and dancing, taking video's and pictures.  She loves to do selfie pictures and then look at all of them.

She climbed in the crib and then said, "mom hurry and take some pictures"
She said something so funny this morning.  I was telling her that she needed to go and clean and she said, "I am not Adison, I am Elsa!"  I said, Yea, I heard you are the best cleaner ever I am so glad you came to help!  then she said, "I have to go to my house now so I can not clean, sorry."  so I said, "your mom said that she wanted you to stay and clean."  then she said, "oh, my mom is dead so I don't."  (then she told me she died on a ship)  She is such a messy little girl right now and will not lift a finger to help clean it up unless I am really mad….. I don't know what to do about her room that she will pull every thing out of her closet, and then go to the playroom and pull every toy out.

Anytime I make a smoothie these two are so excited.  They love to share!

Little Boy

I don't know how in the world this happened, but my baby has just turned into a little boy.  I am so sad and want him to slow down.  He is so cute and sweet and I am so in love with him.  He loves to play and is so good at figuring out how things work.  He has learned to yell and cry to get his way and he is a natural at fake crying.

now that it is getting warm outside he wants to be outside all the time.  He can open the door so unless it is locked he is escaping all the time.  He will not wear shoes so I don't know what we are going to do with him.

the last few nights he just wants me to hold him on my lap and give him a cuddle.  He will hold still for a long time and it is so nice.  I love getting time to just relax and cuddle my little boy!

He loves to swing and jump on the tramp as long as he is being held.  If you try and put him down he screams and acts like his is scared to death.  He also loves the slide and is just as happy as can be to just be outside.  I hope the weather stays nice!

I need to figure out when kids stop taking two naps.  I am not sure when to put him down and if I should keep giving him two naps.  He acts so sleepy at the end of the day and wants to go to bed at 7 or earlier.   But he is getting hard to put down for the second one and so I am not sure if it is even worth it.

Sometimes in our lives we make mistakes and things happen that we wish didn’t and I have a hard time not thinking about them and just wishing I could turn back time.  The past week I have been so sick to my stomach and have been wanting to find the rewind button and can not stop thinking… why!!!!  It all started when we had a neighbor of ours came to the door and I had just laid Max down for a nap.  He had been asleep for about ten minutes and this is the only time of the day that I can get anything done I feel like sometimes.  Anyway, our neighbor came to the door and rang our doorbell and then pounded on the door with his fist so loud it made my heart jump.  (it also woke up my sleeping baby.)  So I ran to the door and as soon as I opened it he started to yell at me…. I tried to say that I had a baby asleep and to please be quiet but he didn’t even act like he could hear me.  I walked outside and shut the door.. then he yelled at me for a few minutes about how our chickens had been over at his house and they were in his barn eating his horse’s grain and pooping all over the place and he had had it…. By the way he kept yelling at me I thought this was the tenth time he had talked to us and kept saying I was sorry.  I couldn’t believe how mad he was and couldn’t believe he was yelling at me… at one point I asked him if he knew that they were even our chickens and it just made him even more mad I think.   Anyway after that I was just upset that I had been yelled at so bad and so I tried to call Ryan and let him know that we needed to lock up the chickens and that there was a problem.  He was our flying a airplane and didn’t call me back so I didn’t get to talk to him until he had gotten home around 5.  I was still upset about the whole thing and the first thing I asked him was if he had ever said anything to us about our chickens before.  When he said no I was taken back and just said I couldn’t believe what a jerk he was about it.  The way he handled the whole thing was like we had problems with each other all the time.  Then I told him a little of what he had said to me and before I could even stop him Ryan had jumped into his truck and was gone.  He was only gone for 5 minutes and then walked in the door and I was in shock.  He had a fat/bloody lip and was washing his bloody hand that had been cut.  And then before he could even tell me what had happened we had cops at our house.  It was such a bad night and I am so sick about the whole thing.
So Ryan went to his house and knocked on the guys door the same way that he had knocked on ours.  (that was a big mistake)  He came out yelling and said, “why are you banging on my door” and then pushed Ryan off the doorstep and put him in a choke hold.  Ryan said he got out of it fast and put the other guy to the ground where he said, “here is my business card, if you have any problems call me, don’t go and yell at my wife.  And here is $20 for the food that my chickens ate.”  So Ryan let him get up and he punched Ryan in the face…. So Ryan hit him back.   Then the guy ran to his front porch and grabbed a metal broom and started to hit Ryan with it.  Ryan grabbed it and it broke in half.  (that is what cut his hand up)  then he still kept hitting Ryan with it and called him every name in the book.  As Ryan was leaving he kept saying things like, “you think your such a good Mormon”  and things like that, and then a “when I get rid of my cancer I am going to come over and kick your @@@”  He is around 59 and just not a nice guy….
They called the cops on Ryan and told them a totally different story.  They said that he came to my house and was so nice and I was so nice to him.  And that Ryan came over and just knocked on the door and and as soon as he opened the door Ryan started to hit him.  I am not sure what else he has said but the whole thing is a mess.  Were the stories are not the same the police ended up giving them both the same charge, which was assault.  We have to go to court and plead not guilty and then  go and talk to the prosecuting attorney.  The cop said that it is a fine of 150- couple thousand, and some jail time to 4 months but he didn’t see Ryan being charged with anything like that.  The cops were very nice and gave us some advice and talked to us and made us feel a lot better about the whole thing.  There was a friend of ours that saw some of the fight and when he was holding the broom and that was a good thing.  The guy lied to the cops and told them he didn’t have a broom and then hid it so they couldn’t find it.
Ryan is not like this and he has been upset about the whole thing.  We both wish this never would have happened and I would love to be on good terms with our neighbor.  I hate feeling afraid of someone and wondering if he is going to come over and do anything….. I have been a little scared of him anyway because I have heard bad things about him and know he isn’t very nice.
I keep thinking of how to fix this problem and I am at a loss.  The cops said to stay away from him and I think that is for the best right now.  But I want to forgive and forget and move on somehow.  I am praying everything works out.  I have been thinking about how things like this happen and sometimes we are not in control.  It is crazy that sometimes people who didn’t want something like this to happen get dragged into it.  There is a story on the Mormon Messages that is called “leave the party”   It is about three boys that get a scholarship to a great school in Japan.  They go to a party one night and there are drugs at the party.  The one boy didn’t want to be there and asked his friends to leave.  One said he would leave and the other said, “we can just watch, it is no big deal”  and ended up staying.  As the two friends were going down the elevator, in a different elevator the cops were going up.   They charged everyone that was at the party and the one boy that wasn’t doing anything was kicked out of school.   Even if we are not doing it, if we are at the wrong place at the wrong time it doesn’t matter.
We need to remember that we need to surround ourselves with good people, and be in a place that we can have the spirit with us.  I had a experience in high school that ended up being very similar to this one, and it was a big lesson for me to learn.
We were at a high school basketball game and as we were walking through the parking lot there was a car with a sticker that said “skaters suck”  The group of boys I was with were all skaters and wanted to write him a note.  I had lipstick in my pocket and so I gave it to them.  They crossed out the sticker and then wrote, “you suck.”  We all thought it was funny and then went into the game.  While I was inside the game one of the boys went back out to the car and had noticed it had really nice speakers inside.  He stole the speakers and then went home.

The next day the cops came and talked to each of us that were in that group that night.  None of us knew what had happened and were in shock.  The boy pressed charges and it was against all of us.  Because I was with that group at very beginning I was also in trouble.  We ALL had to pay a fine, and we all had to do community service.  Even though I was with a good group of boys I should have never given them the lipstick or joined in on that.  That made me apart of a crime and was not fun at all.   I hate it when people put the police down and blame them for things like this and I know that they are just following rules and doing their jobs.  There a lot of good people that serve as police and I want my kids to respect them and honor them for what they are doing for us.  I don’t think everyone knows how lucky we are.

Swimming

I let the girls have a friend day and we went to the Penguin Movie and then went swimming.  They had a ton of fun and it was like a birthday party for no reason!

Adison was already to go because she had her swim suit on under her clothes.   When I said that we were going swimming it made her day!  I figured out that if I ever need her to take a nap that all's I need to do is take her to the movies.  The last two movies we have taken her to she has fallen asleep on my lap.  This time I fell asleep for a few minutes also….. Lizzy bumped me and told me to wake up.

after swimming I let them go to our house and play cards and a few other games.  It is crazy to have my kids big enough to want to have late nights and do things like this.
That was the other thing they talked about in Stake Conference was setting rules and curfews for your kids.  They said that there are so many things that are going on after 12 that it makes one believe that the Spirit goes to bed at midnight.  Everyone laughed but he also said that people who set times for their children to be home and rules have a better chance for their kids making better choices.  He also said how it is a big thing for people who are on a first date to get into trouble these days.  Immorality is such a huge issue and it gets worse and worse all the time that now it is happening between people who are not even in relationships.  I know that things are just getting worse and worse as time goes on, but I pray that my kids will continue to have good friends and make good choices.  It is so true that if you choose the right you are so much happier and life is better.

deep thinking

I went to Stake Conference this weekend and some of the things they said really made me start to think.  I wish I would have had a notebook because there was so many things I wanted to do and remember, and like always, I can not remember it all.  So I thought I would just start little by little.  One of the first things they talked about was our family history.  It is so important to keep our family history and to write down the things that we do in our family's.  I always say that "I should write that down." and then when you forget what it was the next day it makes me so sad that I didn't just write it down when I thought about doing it.  Our family is changing daily it feels like and our kids are growing so fast.  Ryan and I just said that last night as we were looking through some pictures of our girls when Brytlee was just a baby.  It is crazy how fast time goes and how much kids change in just a few years.  I am so grateful that I started this blog and it has been a great way for us to see the changes and to remember some of the things we have done over the past 8 years.  I only wish I would have started it sooner so I could remember it all.
One thing the speaker said was that he had talked to his grandparents and they had told them wonderful stories.  But the longer they waited to write them down, the less they remembered about what they really said.  That is so true.
The other things they talked about in Stake Conference was Temples.  I am so thankful for the temple and what has done for me and my family.  I know that I will get to be with my family forever and that is one of the greatest blessings I could ever think of.  I feel so much peace in knowing that and having the gospel in my life has also brought so much peace and happiness in my life.  They talked about how we should go to the temple at least once a month and I need to work on that…. I would love to go all the time, but I feel that right now my life is so crazy with being a mom and I have a hard time cutting the cord and leaving my kids.  I know that Alexis could babysit and she should be a lot more than she does, but I have a hard time leaving them.
They also talked a lot about how the youth can do a lot of temple work and family history work.  I think it is so amazing how much work is being done by our youth today and how good they are at using the computers and how it is a perfect job for them to enjoy and get into.  This generation of kids was built for this kind of thing and I know it was not by chance that the family search and indexing became so easy to do on a computer.  It is for these kids that are so interested in electronics.
Something I was thinking about during the conference was how excited I am for my Mueller family to go to the temple  I can not wait to see my Grandpa in the temple and take my Grandma to be sealed for time and all Eternity.  This is something that my Grandma I am sure has been dreaming about for sooooo many years.  I don't know how she was so patient or how she did it, but I know that it was so worth it.  They just seem so happy and there is a huge smile on my grandpas face that I can not forget.  My mom is so excited for her own family to be sealed together and it is all just so amazing.

I have also been thinking how in the world did I get such great kids.  I am so proud of these kids of mine.  I love them with all my heart and then more.  I never in a million years would have guessed that I would have this amazing little family.  I am so thankful to be a mother and to have the privilege of raising these wonderful spirits.  Alexis is growing up and just feels like she is so old.  She is such a sweet girl and I am always so impressed with her choices she has made in school, and with her friends.  I love to see how social she is.  She is such a social little butterfly.  She loves to have lots of friends and doesn't care who they are.  I love that about her and is always ready to go and have fun with everyone and anyone.  I know that friends make a huge impact on youth and I am thankful that she has good taste in friends.  I have loved every friend she has brought home and think they are all just amazing.

I am also so impressed with how smart my kids are.   I just got the report cards for the kids and I was so excited.  All the girls had so many A's and worked so hard in school.  They are just so smart and I am so proud of them.  I can not believe some of the things that Alexis has to do in the 7th grade and I don't remember doing a lot of the work she does until I was in high school.  I know they do a lot more work now and a lot sooner than they ever did when I was growing up.

Adison has such a fun, spunky, cute, princess, personality and I love it.  She is sometimes more than a handful but I just have to laugh.  My mom always said that I was going to have kids just like me someday and she was right.  I wouldn't change them for anything though, they keep me on my toes and make me laugh.

Look at these beautiful eyes.  That is the other thing, I am amazed at how beautiful my family is… inside and out.

Max has figured out how to pout and get his way.  He is getting a little spoiled and it is so hard not to give into this little adorable man.

As soon as he wakes up my kids have to hurry and get him so he isn't sad.  Adison will put a ton of toys in his crib to make him happy until we go and get him.  I am glad that she hasn't tried to get him out on her own yet.

I thought it was so funny to see the different faces he made in one minute.  He is such a cutie pie.

I love the little pictures I get from Alexis on Snapchat.  She is so cute!

Max figured out how to blow the straw and make music.  He is growing so fast and is learning so many things.  He just figured out how to open the doors and escape from the house.  That is way to early for this little boy…. and now I have to keep every door in the house locked.  He has also become a little tornado.  I now have a big one named Adison and her little side kick Max….

This girl is always in a swim suit.

Max loves to help build towers and then I call him Wreck it Ralph because he loves to knock them over and mess them up as much as he can.   I hate that I didn't have any pictures of Lizzy and Brytlee in all of these.  I hope they know that when I am talking about all the things I am proud of, it is about them also.
We have been so busy and I keep thinking about how when I just had little kids and I didn't have much to do I would tell my sister Annette that I was so board…. she told me that I should enjoy it and that I wouldn't have any time to be board before long.  She was so right!
All three of the girls are in basketball right now and we have something going on about every single night.  It is so nice when we are all home and we can just hang out together and relax together.
