Brytlee's Vegas Trip

Brytlee was so spoiled and was able to go on a trip to Las Vegas for one whole week with Grandma and Grandpa and Chis, Cindy, and Tessa. She was so happy and has been talking about it every day. I have was not on the trip so I can not tell you what most of the pictures are, so Brytlee is by me and going to tell me what to write about the pictures so from now on this is in her words not mine.

We are going to eat at a Restaurant.

This is at the fish factory, and we ate at the fish factory. I am looking at the huge fish
This is at the Lion place that has cotton candy. I got two cotton candies.

Taking a picture of the Mario Brothers, and I got to shake their hands. (I love all the faces she makes in the next couple of pictures)

At the M&M store and we got to watch a movie and a M&M screamed. there was fat M&M's, and they were trying to be funny. But they were fake.
A lion, and there were tigers and lions. And we go to see them eat, but we couldn't feed them because it is too dangerous. I got to see a big snake too.
This is a Panda, we got to paint our face but it went off because we don't want everyone to see it.
We went swimming and I swam all by myself and made some big splashes. But I am faking it

See my huge splash! That's all
We watched a Dora Movie and water sprayed in our face. It was really good. I got to watch sponge bob but he is bad and then we had dinner.
I look like I am flying.

Watching the water dance and a rainbow. And the water can sing
Seeing rocket ships, they are not boats. And I got to throw pennies in a sinking whole.

This is from the Chocolate factory, and we got to taste them.
Looking at the fish.
Taking a picture, (I really like this picture of Chris, Cindy and Tessa)
Grandpa is so cute.

We were on a big bridge looking down so high up.
but I am not scared
COTTON CANDY! I wanted to bring it home for you to try it but they wouldn't let me. I ate meat and hamburgers and all kinds of good stuff.
mixing paint in milk. I really liked it
Me looking cute standing at a pineapple tree.
Making giant bubbles.
My bubble then Tessa popped it!
Grandpa is in a bubble, and Tessa kept running through and popping it.....(I don't think she really did)
My bubble maker

Me in a bubble.
Watching balloons POP! Then they would come back to life.
See she popped them
then the balloons got big and they farted. The red ball could bounce and the yellow didn't
I want a giant bubble
I love grandpa, and I gave him a big hug and I was holding a little spoony pinky.
We were eating at a place and we got to eat and eat and eat.
Cindy bought me and Tessa princess dresses and we looked so cute. (Brytlee has not wanted to take her dress off since she has been home)
We are screaming on the frog hopper. This is my favorite ride. We need to go do that again.
Pulling up myself (this picture is way out of order. It was at the kids museum that had the bubbles)

standing in line for the ship
this is captain hook's ship.

We liked taking a picture with Sponge bob.

going on the fast motion fire.

beating the games. We went on all the rides and went a lot. I want to go do that again.
This is the hugest fish

It is a diving fish
I was honking a choo choo train
A real live mermaid, but it is a fake one. See her two bumps on her feet, so it is not a real one.
fake mermaid.
see she has goggles and real mermaids don't have to plug their nose. See she has something on her nose.....
Two little princess going to bed
Taking a picture with a GIANT fish. I got the bear when I saw one of those smurfs and I didn't get it. It was a boy one and no one would want to play with a boy smurf uhhhh.

Ok Brytlee is all done, and now it is back to me. I think that Brytlee had the time of her life, and she has told a few times that she knows everything because she got to go to a circus in Las Vegas. I love that my family took her with them, she is going to have such great memories from this trip. They spoiled her like crazy and she feels so special. I really have the best family in the whole world. Not very many people would take a 4 year old on their vacation. Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa and Chris and Cindy. Brytlee can not wait to play with Tessa again.

Basketball star

Alexis is all done with Basketball this year and it went by way too fast. They had a great team and an AWESOME coach as you can see!!!! Ryan was so good at coaching this cute little team. He is just a natural and so great with the kids. They did really well and I think they only lost one game. They were suppose to have a tournament at the end but for some reason it was cancelled and Alexis was so sad. Our Neighbor McKay helped coach also and his little girl was on the team and they were also wonderful. Everyone was just great and it was such a fun experience for Alexis.

Elizabeth is too young to play and will start next year but she was able to go to all the practices and she improved SO much. Ii is still hard for her to get the ball all the way up to the basket, but every once in a while she gets them in. She has really become great at dribbling the ball and her ball handling is great. Ryan will still go at 6:00 in the morning before school with the girls and have them practice and they love going. I love it because it is such a good time for them to get to hang out with their dad and see how much he loves and cares about his girls.

Such a cute ball player! She was so great this year, she was aggressive and would get in all the action. She made two or more baskets at all the games and can really hustle up and down the court. By the end Ryan had taught them a few plays and they really got it down. I really loved going to the games and watching her play, I Can't wait tell next year already!!!!

Alexis's School pictures

Alexis is in the fourth grade and is doing so well. She is really enjoying all the new things she is learning and I LOVE that she really LOVES going to school. She LOVES her Teacher this year and she has been wonderful for Alexis. I am so grateful for good teachers. I feel like we have been so blessed to have the kind of teachers both of my girls have needed each year and they have had great experiences with their teachers each year. When Alexis brought her pictures home I had to tell her that I just thought she was the cutest girl ever. I know I never looked this good in pictures when I was in school. She is a natural for the camera.

Her class picture. The boy above her cracked me up. And notice she is on the bottom row.... I was never on the bottom row and was always on the very top row. So weird to have a little shorty. She has some really great friends in her class also who I love and think they are just so sweet.
I am so proud of Alexis and think that she is such an amazing girl. I am so grateful to her for her example that she is setting for her younger sisters and I hope that they will enjoy learning as much as she has. She is also such a good friend to others. I have had a few people tell me that she is so good to their kids and such a great friend. A couple of weeks ago she was standing up for a friend and was slapped in the face because of it. But she still stood up for her friend and made sure the girls didn't say something bad about that friend. I hate seeing her go through things that hurt her feelings and make her upset but I am really proud of the way that she handles herself and acts away from home.

Think

I have learned that I really need to think about what I say more often, and how I say it. The other night I was getting the girls to bed and they were being so good so I said, "I have the best girls ever." Then Elizabeth said, "do you really mean that mom?" It surprised me and asked why she would say that. She said, "well sometimes you get really mad at us and you said one time that Alexis was acting like a brat." That made me really feel horrible.
Then the other night we were at a pizza place having dinner and there was a family that had four boys. Our girls had been great and right as we were leaving I said, "your boys are being so good." then the mom told me that they are very rambunctious and they are crazy most of the time. So I said, "well mine could probable beat yours, they can be too." and right after I said that, Brytlee started acting so weird and scream really loud while we were walking out the door and for the rest of the night was acting very "crazy!" I guess hearing me say that she thought it was how she was suppose to be acting.
Brytlee said a couple of things that I need to write down before I forget. She LOVED her trip to Vegas and has been talking about it non stop. One funny thing she said was, "mom I saw Evil las Vegas" I didn't know what she was talking about but later found out she was talking about the song on the Just dance 2, Viva Las Vegas.
The other night when I was cleaning up the kitchen I had cut my finger with a knife and as soon as I did Elizabeth ran and got me a band-aide and Brytlee got me a tissue and they both fixed it for me. Then when I kept loading the dishwasher, Brytlee said, "mom go sit down and rest, you are to fragile so I will do it K." Sooooooooo cute. She also told me the other day while she was in a cleaning mood that she was going to just clean the whole house so I needed to go and take a nap.
I really do think my girls are the best girls ever and I really need to work hard so they know that I feel that way. I love them all so much and they make me so happy. (most days, we do have our little moments but they are not that bad) I am grateful that I have my little girls and that I get to see them grow and learn and play. I love them so much and I hope that they see it now instead of later in life. I know that I realize so many things about my own mom that I didn't notice until I had my own children.
