Cruise part 1

The first day of the cruise was suppose to be on a Sunday but was pushed back to a Monday.  We all got up and packed up all our things and told the kids we were going to go and find the beach.  Then we all got on the bus with the kids not having any clue we were going to go get on the ship!  On this little bus ride I learned that my little Elizabeth had told a dirty joke to her cousin Mia.  When I heard what the joke was I said, "Elizabeth would NEVER do that."   That is when Annette told me that I should never say that because I didn't want to eat my own words.  I really did think that my kids were perfect.... and wouldn't do that.  But when I started to ask question I found out that she really did tell this joke, and she had learned it from her big  sister.... and they both didn't really know what it even meant.  I was a little sad and had to talk to them and tell them that when they learn jokes at school they need to come to mom and dad first before they can tell them.....
As soon as we got close to the bay and we could see the ship my dad got on the microphone and started to tell the kids that we were so happy to be together as a family, and we always need to live right so that we can be together as a family forever.  He also said that he was so happy to be on this great trip for his Retirement party, and then he started to cry.  He said something about going on the boat, but the kids didn't really know what he said, so I got on and yelled, "We get to go on the ship, and go on a cruise"  It was so exciting!!!

When we got to the ship I couldn't believe how long the lines were to get onto the boat.... It was a little ridiculous.  We were in a fast line for some reason I don't really know why so we were not even in the longest line and we still had to wait over two hours......
Once we were on the ship we were all happy and all starving!

We all had rooms for family's and all the kids just took turns sleeping in different rooms each night.  Ryan and I were alone almost every night because that is how cool we are I guess.  Grandma and Grandpa's rooms were always packed with kids......

Everyone loved the ice cream cone machine.  I couldn't even count how many of these everyone had....
Alexis really liked eating all the different fancy foods and was fun to take into the dinning room with us.  The other kids were also really good but had more fun going to the kids club dinners instead..  The kids club was a nice thing for the kids and most of them liked going.
Fun little indian they made.  Elizabeth really loved watching this.

The very first day on the ship we were all walking down the stairs to go to our rooms and my flip flop got caught up under my foot and I tripped down ALL the stairs.  The way my foot hit when I fell was my big toe was tucked up under and I took all the weight of the fall on my joint above my big toe.  I about passed out and then wanted to throw up.  It was such a dumb thing to happen on the FIST day of the trip.... I tried to not let it slow me down but I wasn't as much fun as I wanted to be and couldn't run around and dance and be crazy like you should act on a cruise.......  A month after the cruise it is still hurting me and I still can not fit it into a normal shoe without having pain.  It may be broke but in the place that it would be broke there is really nothing you can do for it so I just have no desire to go to a doctor about it.  It kinda made it look like I have a huge bone spur or bunion thing growing.
