One more week

I am down to the last week of my pregnancy and I have heard a few times from my husband, "I don't remember you ever being like this with the others", or "you never felt like that with the other girls". So I thought I better write down some of my pains before we both forget them.... (just so we can remember for the next time)
From day one this has been a harder pregnancy. I threw up more, and felt sick all the time. I hated the way I have felt the entire time and can not wait to feel like I have energy and my mind is back to normal. I have gotten so big with this baby, and everything hurts. I can't sleep very well at night, but in the day that is all I feel like doing... If I do take a nap I really can't sleep at night so I try not to nap. My ribs are always killing me, my hips hurt, and my feet are so big I can not fit them into a shoe. I had to wear flip flops last week to church. I have a hard time breathing at times, and the heartburn is something I have no matter what. Even when I wake up in the morning I still have heartburn. I have gone through 7 bottles of tums with this pregnancy, and I am almost out so I may have to go buy bottle #8.
It is so amazing that girls go through all this pain and trust me.... there is going to be so much more pain before I get to meet this little angel.... but after we hold them in our arms for the first time, everything we went through to get them here is gone and you just don't remember anything but the good. I am so looking forward to the good, and can't wait to see my baby. I know that everything I have felt is a small price to pay for having the most wonderful gift that a mother will ever receive.
