4th of July

We went to the Menan parade, and then the fun little park events on the fourth.  The little kids wanted to do the face painting.  They turned out great

They all wanted to ride the pony, and Adison was so excited to ride it until I put her on the horse.  I put Brytlee on the back thinking it would help but it didn't, then I held her hand and she was fine.  I had to let go of her hand for a second so I could take a picture and she broke down again.

I could not believe how stinking hot is was... I was feeling a little cooked so we didn't stay very long.  We went to Annette's house and had a little camp out.  My parents took their camper, and stayed the night, we went to the neighborhood firework show, and it was great.  Annette and I wanted to take our kids over to the snake river to show them the Big fireworks that night so we went over and found a great spot with duck poo all over the place and waited and waited and waited and waited.... we looked at the time and it was well past 10:30 so we asked what was going on and found out that a group of three men jumped in the river and tried to swim out to the island and only two of them come out of the water.  So they had search and rescue out looking for him for over a hour and our kids were driving me crazy so we went home.  And of course as soon as we almost got home.... the fireworks started.  The guy was 24 and had drowned.  They found him around 2 in the morning.

Idaho falls fun

Sara has been in Rigby for the summer so we have tried to visit as much as possible.  My kids love playing with all their cousins and they all get along so great and have so much fun.   We were at my parents house and they decided to make a fort out in the trees.  It turned out very cute.  I love the christmas lights, such a nice touch.

Sara's little Tate.  I call him a little Russell Crow.  I don't know why but he looks like him to me.
We went to Sara's sisters house for a little party and she had this awsome water slide.  The kids all had a blast playing on it for hours.
Adison loved it and would go as long as she was on someones lap.  The girls got a little tired of taking her after a while.... she was a little sad.

Adison got over being sad and found a baby and a driving toy to play with, and then she was as happy as could be.

Loved this picture of Elizabeth going into the water.  We also took the kids to the movie "The Croods"  I thought it was so cute, and there was even a little part in it that made me tear up.

Guess what

So part of the reason that I have not done much of anything this summer, and have not had any motivation at all is because..... I am pregnant.   I have been sooooooooooo sick with this baby, and have blown up like a whale, and feel like crap all the way around.  But we went in and did a ultra sound and everything looked perfect and healthy.  I am so relieved because I went a whole month without knowing I was pregnant and was sitting in lots of hot tubs, and going in the sauna and doing flips at the jump zone.....
And even better, we are having a boy!!!!!  I am still in shock and can not believe it myself.  I don't know if I am going to know what to do with a boy, but I am sure we will figure it out.

Birthday time

We all went to the jump zone for Kate's birthday this year and it was a lot of fun.  The kids were in heaven
Alexis learned to do a back flip on her own.  And now she is a little pro at it.

Ryan showing his mad dunking skills!
Alexis turned 11 this year.  She is very into soccer and so she wanted her cake to be a soccer ball on a grass field.

I still can not believe that my baby is growing up so fast.  She is such a great girl, and helps me out so much.  She can babysit now when we need her to, and I know that when we come home she will have the house cleaned up and kids will all be well taken care off.  She is such a sweet heart and I love her so much!

something Alexis sad to me that day that was so funny.  I was getting ready for her party and making her cake and I as wearing sweats and a t-shirt, and comes up to me and rubs my back and say's, "mom, you really make those sweats look comfy!"
Alexis is going into the sixth grade this year, and that is in the JR HIGH..... I am a little sick about that, but I know she can do well!  Alexis did so well in school this last year, she has to work a little harder than some other kids, but she doesn't give up.  I hope that she can keep it up and always work hard like she has in the past.  She is so smart, and such a good girl, she has such a great heart and I am so proud of her!

Park City

My parents have a condo that they get to use each year and this year they decided to stay in Park city so all the grand kids could come and be with them and have a little trip with them.   It was a very fun Condo that had great hot tubs and a great pool.  They also had a kids club that was fun for the kids also.

Adison has always been a little afraid of the water, but as soon as she got used to this cool little life vest she was a little fish.

Adison loves her grandma and grandpa, sometimes I feel like she may need to give them a little space, but at the same time it is so cute to see how much she wants to be with them and loves them.
We did a little hair dressing......
The kids all had so much fun together, they all get along great and love each other so much.  Cousins are so great!
 We wore these kids out!
All of us together.  It is crazy how hard it is to have us ALL together anymore.

We are missing Alexis.... she had to stay home for some soccer games and we all missed her very much.
While we were in Park city I really wanted to go and grab a couple swim suits I had saw for the girls so one of the nights that the boys had all gone to a motocross thingy.... my mom, Annette and I took ALL the kids with us to the outlet malls.  We were not thinking at the time and while we were there the battery on the car died, and the kids were all starving and it was a little crazy.... but we have to keep telling ourselves that we made some great memories.

Time to catch up....

So I took the whole summer off from my blog, and now I need to do some catching up.  I went through all my pictures because that is the only way I can remember what has been going on in our lives.  I loved these pictures of the girls, Brytlee loves to make others laugh and be silly so she put on a sticker mask and it sure made me laugh.  Adison is really growing up.  She has started to say some cute things like, "I wanna hold you, and if she can't find me she asks everyone, Where's my mom.  (over and over and over)  She is a little attached to me.
She also loves to make us laugh and can put on a show for us when she is in the mood.
Elizabeth walked the halls forever ago, and I am just getting around to it.  She is such a smart little girl, and she loves to read.  She can go through chapter books in one day sometimes and she can remember them forever.   She has done so well in school this year and every time I ran into the Principle he would always tell me what a wonderful girls she is, or say something like, "Your girl is something else" or "that girl is dandy"  he did tell me a few times that she was his favorite student.....  I have to agree with him because she is such a sweetheart.  He also told me a few cute stories about her sticking up for other kids and also including kids when they were feeling sad.  She has always had such a tender heart and I just love that about her.
I thought it was so cute when all the kids got in the halls to cheer them on, they had pom poms and they yelled so loud it hurt my ears!

It is so sweet of everyone that comes and shows support when my girls have walked the halls.  Elizabeth was so sad because she really wanted her dad to be home to see her walk this year, but he was still in North Dakota.  He was really sad also and had her wait as long as she could hoping he would make it.....

I love this girl so much and I feel so lucky to be her mom.  She is such a good girl and makes my job easy.  She works very hard in school, and is great at making sure she gets her homework done on the bus or at school so she can come home and play.
Elizabeth loved her teacher this year, and she was just great to her.  Every time I talked to her she would say how much she loved Elizabeth and what a great girl she is.
