Brytlee's baptism

Brytlee was baptized yesterday and it was such a great day.  She was so excited and was looking forward to this day for a very long time.  She has been asking to have her school teacher and friends to come to her baptism and I dropped the ball on that one…. but we had so much family come that she didn't care at all.  We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family on both sides that are willing to come and support us in all that we do.

I love this picture of the kids.  Max was so excited when I said, One, Two, and when I said three he said three and was very happy as you can see.  It is so funny because sometimes when I tell people I have three kids it sounds like a lot, but when I am looking at this picture it doesn't look like a lot at all.  They are such great kids and I love them so much.

I am so thankful for a wonderful husband who is worthy to baptize our children.  He is such a great dad and I love to watch him with our kids.

Two very adorable people who I love very much.

My Grandma Merrill came and it was so great to see her.  She is so sweet and we love her so much.  It was funny because when she came in she told us that she had passed a cop and she was speeding a little but he didn't turn around for her, but then Chris said, "well he turned around and got me…."  I felt so bad for him.  I hate getting tickets and it can just ruin your day.

Brytlee was able to use Lizzy's cute towel that our friends the Cordners made for her after she was baptized.

She looked so beautiful!

Grandpa Harris was one of her witnesses

And Grandpa Butch was also a witness for her.  I was so excited to have my grandpa be a witness and he was so sweet.  At the baptism Annette's little girl Joslynn went to him and asked him if he had a treat.  He didn't and he said he should.  Then my Grandma gave Brytlee a card with Five dollars in it and he said, "wait you are ripping these kids off!  They should get at least $8.00"  so as soon as the baptism was over he went to the store and bought a bag of candy, and got a bunch of dollar bills and then at the party he was handing each kid candy and money.  It was so cute, and not like him at all.  We were talking to my parents on Facebook and my Grandma said, "tell Dennis he is being replaced.  Grandpa has treats in his suit pocket and he is passing it out to the kids."  We all had to laugh because that is something my dad had done for a very long time.

Our little Beauty Brytlee.  She has such amazing grandparents and is so loved!

So far all my girls have worn the same blessing dress, and now they have all worn the same baptism dress.

Great Grandma Thomas.  Brytlee is going to pass her in height pretty soon.

Max and his favorite Brytlee.  He loves her so much and she plays with him so cute.

Cute little Tessa and she has lost two front teeth.

All the great grandparents.  She is so lucky to have four of them.  It was funny because we were teasing them about looking at the camera and making baby sounds to get them to smile.

My beautiful Grandma!  She is amazing

we made a attempt to take a family picture after but not one turned out.

Alexis and adi, ….. ( squirel)

My Grandpa told me that Grandma hit him because he wouldn't go to bed on time.  They both just sat there and didn't say anything else so I said… Grandma… you didn't really hit them did you?  They both laughed and she said, "do you really think I would do that?"   I guess he was out changing a tire and the star thing you use spun around and hit him in the face pretty hard.  They both said it was a lot better than it had been.

We had so much yummy food.  We made a prime rib, and salad, cheese dip, cheese balls, chips, Grandmas yummy homemade salsa and cookies, and then Chris (and my MOM) brought this giant yummy cake that was a huge hit.  I have been fasting today and I have not felt hungry at all so I am thinking I ate well yesterday…. ha ha
I am so thankful for the gospel and so thankful for the blessing it brings into our lives.  I loved the blessing that Brytlee was given by her dad and hope that she listened and can learn to follow the spirit and recognize it.  It is such a great gift.  I was a senior in high school when I figured out the promptings of the spirit and I just hope that my girls can do it even sooner.
It was so weird to not have my parents with us, but it was so great to be able to Facetime them and see them.  They were at the temple and it was so beautiful and there was about four feet of snow on the ground around them.  It was hard to get a lot of talking in because all the kids were very excited to see them also, but it was just fun to watch them and see them talk.   It was so cute when Joslynn saw them she just said, "I want you to come home" and then ran off and told Cindy that her Grandma and Grandpa were going to come and play with her.  My mom did say that they needed to go because it was making her homesick and we just laughed… but it is how  I felt also.  They are such amazing parents and that makes it hard to share them. (ha ha)  but I know that we are being blessed from them serving a mission and it is so amazing to see.  The gospel is amazing, the gospel is true.  I know it and I love it!!!!
