With how much I worry about my girls being at school, and hope that they are making good friends, and being good examples and always doing their best... It is so great to find out that they really are doing what you want them to do and even more. Alexis came home yesterday and I was asking her about her day. She told me that there are girls in her grade that are already "dating" and doing things that they shouldn't be doing. I asked her how she felt about that and she said, "well it is weird because so and so goes to church and she still is doing it. Why isn't she doing what she is suppose to do?" I hate it when they ask those questions but I always have to say that I am not their mother, and so they must not have the same rules that we do.
Then she started to tell me about a girl at school that was picking on anther kid at school and it really bothered her. So she went up to this girl and told her she needed to stop. The little girl turned to her and called her "the B word" and then ran away. (this is in the fourth grade.....) I was so proud that she had the courage to stand up to someone and help someone else out. I am so proud of her and hope that she always has the courage to stand up for herself and what she believes in. I love her so much!!!!
