This last week has been my girls spring break. It hasn't been the most eventful week because we stayed home with the new baby almost the whole time. I am so scared to take her out because I do not want her to get sick. And the girls have been asking me everyday to have a friend come and stay, but for the same reason I have not taken her out, I have not dared to invite anyone over... I was hoping for some nice weather so we could go on a bike ride and play outside, but the entire week it snowed, rained, and was just so cold! Alexis was able to go to a couple of friends houses and play, but the other two just hung out at home. I still need to find a friend for Elizabeth that is her age and I can pair them up so she has a buddy for play dates and school, but it is so hard... She is such a friendly girl and makes friends with everyone she meets so I don't know why it has been so hard....
Later in the week I was feeling so bad that the spring break that they were having was mostly staying home and doing chores so I took them swimming on Thursday and Friday, and they had a great time together doing that. Brytlee was even getting brave and took of her floaty and went under water a lot. I am still so nervous so after a while I made her put them back on.
Saturday we went as a family to the movies to see HOP, it was a cute Easter movie, and the girls had a lot of fun. After that we went to Golden Corral to eat and they had a lot of fun picking out their food, and then eating all the sweets. They have a cotton candy machine, and a chocolate fountain so by the end of the meal they were so messy and sticky!
I am not really looking forward to have school starting again, it has been nice having my little helpers at home on most days. Some day's when the fighting starts I go a little crazy, but for the most part they were really good this week. They built a little club house in the basement and took the scooters down and they were down there for two day's straight playing great!
Adison has gotten so much better about sleeping at night. We figured out that I was just not giving her enough milk and so I started to pump to see if I even had any milk at all, and I didn't get much. And each day I get less and less. I still try all the time to see if it will ever come in, but still no luck. We started to give her bottles and she is much happier, and sleeping 3 to 4 hours at a time. I am so torn by this. With Brytlee she just WOULD NOT NURSE and had to take a bottle, but little Adison is such a good little nurser and wants to all the time so it is so hard not to. (Ryan calls me the binky) It is such a bond and I don't want to give it up, but it is starting to get weird doing it and knowing I am not feeding her but it may be hard to give up.
