crazy

It is so crazy how fast time goes when you have a lot to do. I feel like I have been going 100 miles an hour and not getting any of the things done that I need to do. (but I did get all my laundry done this week and that was wonderful)!
I have a lot that I should be writing about, and a lot of things that I may have forgotten already. So I will start with spring break.... or should I call it snow break? I was a little bummed by the weather because it was so cold, and muddy, and wet, and there was sooooo much snow on the ground. Alexis had no school for a whole week, and I feel like we were all stuck in the house and board. I didn't have anything great planned for our week, but Alexis and I did make it on a date one of the days and had some great one on one time. The next day Elizabeth kept asking when I was ever going to take her out on a date so we also made sure to make a trip to town shopping with just the two of us also.
This weekend my parents were able to get some time off of work and so they came and stayed the night at our house. We had no idea that they were even comming, and Ryan and I were at the temple when they called to say that they were only a hour away from our house.... (I was so excited and happy) When we got home they pulled in right about the same time. The girls were so happy, and bouncing off of the walls. Brytlee was really happy to see Grandpa Merrill, and didn't want to leave his side.
The next day we went shopping and got some really great deals at Albertsons, but the sales this week are so hard to figure out, and so it took us two hours to get it all together.
I had a great time with my parents and I am so happy they came to see us. I told them that is it so great to see them, but even better to have them all to myself. I felt so special!!!
I really do have the best parents in the world. I can't get over how lucky I am to have such a great family. My parents would do anything for us, and they are so much FUN. They are always ready to go out and do something, go on trips, play games, go shopping, play with the grand kids, and stay up late talking. (my mom and I stayed up past 1:00 clipping coupons and talking, it was so nice)
While listening to conference this year, I just had that feeling.... .like my heart was so full it could explode with the love I have for my family (that includes ALL my family), my parents, my children, and my wonderful husband.
A couple of funny things that I don't want to forget are........
Alexis was fighting with Elizabeth and so she said, "You big..... tomato"! Ouch.... I guess she didn't know what to call her, but Elizabeth knew what she meant and it hurt her feelings all the same.
The girls always have to tell me a million things when I tuck them into bed. So the other night Elizabeth said something about her heart going really fast. And so she asked if that means she is going to die? I told her " it is a good thing to have your heart beating fast, when you die your heart does not beat at all". Alexis said, "why do we have to die? Is it because we have to go be with Jesus?" I told her a little and could tell that our conversation was going to get very very long so I told her we could talk about it in the morning. Then she tells me, "you are going to die before me huh." And then Elizabeth said, "but Daddy will die before you". And so they couldn't see me laughing I had to say goodnight. (but we are going to have to talk about this for FHE)
I think that is all I can remember for now, so from now on, I hope I can keep up a little better so I don't have to cram everything into one post.....

A big tomato? I'm totally going to use that one! Sounds like you have been having fun despite the cold weather.
